means that we know who committed the violation/offense/crime but for whatever reason, it was determined that no further follow-up was needed by police or other entity.

Administratively Closed:

means that Security does not know who “did it” and the case is closed in that manner. An example is a hit and run. We know by the evidence that one car struck another as reported to us, be we were unable to determine the suspect driver.

means that department is responsible for any follow-up of the case. In the case of the police or fire department, it means they responded and took over the scene upon their arrival. All others do not mean they responded to the scene but it does mean that they will handle any follow-up.

means that Campus Security was unable to complete their investigation during the initial call and more follow-up is needed.

Suspect is female, late 30s, light skin, blonde hair, short stature, heavy set.

Student from Prentiss Hall called the Security Office and mentioned that upon returning to her dorm room, she noticed many items were missing.

Student caught twice drinking alcohol in public at Onionfest event. When asked to provide WID, they initially lied about not having one, but produced one when asked by a 2nd officer.

Beginning at 8:05PM on 4/14/2023 and extending to 2:50AM on 4/15/2023, a trespassed subject was on campus multiple times. Suspect was arrested at 2:50AM on 4/15/2023 near Marcus House and Shady Rill Street.

Trespassed subject was reported multiple times in multiple places over the course of the night of 4/14/2023 to the early morning of 4/15/2023: 8:05PM outside Cleveland Commons, 9:39PM at an off-campus rental, 10:07PM at Reid Campus Center, and finally 2:50AM near Hunter Conservatory (leading to their arrest near Marcus House and Shady Rill St.)

A student called yesterday, 06/08/23 @ 2:41pm stating that his bike had been stolen from the TKE house. He was driving at the time he called, making it extremely difficult to understand exactly what he was saying. Student was informed to call the security office back when he was stopped in order to be heard.

First observed at @ 8:00AM the vehicle was parked at the south side of Rees Warehouse with the lights on and engine off. The driver appeared to be asleep. Attempts to waken by honking the patrol vehicle horn were ineffective. As suggested by Dir. Powell I returned 2 hours later. Vehicle lights were off but driver still appeared to be asleep. I called City/County Dispatch. At their direction I once again attempted to waken the occupant to no avail. WWPD Officer A. Mauri arrived at 10:19 AM and driver was informed that he was trespassed for 2 years from that location

An unknown person drove a vehicle into the fence line of the Athletic Field and fled the scene on foot. The vehicle was totaled and the damage was estimated (by WWPD) at $2,000. Damage was to the facility fence line and the sign post for the fields.
