eriods
Enter the length of your planning and implementation periods.
Note: Planning periods cannot exceed 18 months out of the
36-month grant term.
2. Cells D8-D
61: Description of Expenses
For each expense category, provide a detailed description of the proposed purchases.
Be specific about the quantity and timing.
Example: "Year one estimated enrollment 100 new seats 4 new classrooms - 100 students desks and chairs - 4 teacher desks and chairs - 4 storage cabinets - 4 bookshelves = $31,250 ".
Include details for any specialized materials or equipment needed for your program. Ensure the quantities you
are requesting match the estimated enrollment per year.
3. Cel

Estimate the costs for each category for each of the three grant years.
The estimates should match the activities outlined in your application narrative.
Example: If student and teacher desks, chairs, cabinets, and bookshelves are the only furniture being purchased for the classroom, and you plan to add 4
classrooms each year, enter $31,250 in the column for each year (cells E9, F9, G9).
4. Important Notes:
Some expenses are only allowed in specific grant periods.
Follow the
NMCSP Allowable Cost Guide and ensure that your budget narrative is aligned with your budget template.
