March 15, 2019Applied Research Laboratories - Univ. of Texas at AustinEvery summer we sponsor a Science and Engineering Apprenticeship Program for high school graduates who will be attending a senior college beginning with the fall semester, and who have applied to UT Austin (preference given to students attending UT Austin, and whose intended majors are electrical, mechanical and aerospace engineering, physics, mathematics, and computer science).This summer program is for graduating seniors, and it gives them the opportunity to earn a competitive salary ($15.44 an hour) for the 12 week program. March 15, 2019My Introduction to Engineering Enrichment Program (MITE at UT)MITE is a free, five-day residential program that offers current high school juniors the opportunity to discover engineering through participation in an engineering team project, hands-on activities, and interactions with engineering students, faculty, staff and alumni. Session I is from June 2-7, 2019 and Session II is from June 16-21, 2019. MITE is open to students with strong interests in engineering, science or math. Fifty students will be selected to attend each session. The students will be integrated into the research labs and participate in the ongoing research projects.
