COLLECT SAMPLE Use clean shovel, trowel, or coring tool to collect soil to a depth of 6 inches (0"-6"). Collect soil from 5-7 separate locations within your desired testing area. (Samples should be free of any large plant materials and other debris). Composite the collected soil in the test kit box, large plastic bag, or bucket. Mix thoroughly and break up any large chunks. Use the provided soil scoop to collect 1 level scoop of the mixed soil. Add it to the jar containing DI water and nutrient adsorbing capsule. (Do not dump water out of jar) Tightly secure lid. 3.
