45
2/25/2016 17:56:37Nastasja Rykaczewski- Polish-German, 29 years old, I lived mainly in Germany, but also Poland, Chile, France, Belgium. I failed to settle down and to really 'arrive' in a place where I would get used to things and people just in order to avoid confrontation with expectations towards myself: Expectations as for instance building up a propper strategic career and committing to a serious job...
- Talking about jobs: Having studied for over 6 years first Cultural Studies (Others: 'What is this good for?' - Me: 'It is so interesting to analyse everything through the shaping power of culture') and then Management ('something more concrete' which, however, I wasn't the best at...), I failed to develop and implement a strategic career plan. Switching from music to food packaging industry, freelancing from A-Z, never allowed me to really master one specific subject or develop one skill at its best.(I don't want to mention the financial instability...)
- I guess this comes also from my incapacity to focus... There are too many interesting things and different Me's wanting to engage in different directions and projects: organizing music concerts and festivals; developing finance models for social and cultural projects; playing piano; having a blog; loving flowers; dreaming about living in the mountains not far from the beach where it's warm but without mosquito's... ;)
