To create illustrations of the workhouse children for the video, a competition was held that asked modern Lincolnshire children to 'lend their faces' to represent the workhouse children.Photos of modern day children were taken by each child's parent/guardian and converted into the illustrations seen in the video by Ashley Taylor of Push Creativity.
