What is this? Why?

The purpose of this document is to allow campers to allocate themselves into rooms.

We have a significant number of campers (woo!) and the room allocations can be tricky.

We are giving people the opportunity to sort themselves into groups they’d prefer to cabin with before the start of camp.

This is mainly to prevent a mad rush for rooms upon arrival/ people being surprised with who they end up with.

*not everyone on this list is confirmed to be going to camp. If you are not on this list but think you should be – add your name.

1) Group up with 4-6 people, contact them and discuss room arrangements. Do not pressure people into rooming with you – likewise please be inclusive.

2) Once you have confirmed that you are in a room *UPDATE* this list by placing a ‘y’ in your column.

3) Have one person from the group *EMAIL* (do not pm or we’ll forget) campcaligo@gmail.com with the grouping. Put ‘Cabin Group’ somewhere in the subject.

4) If you don’t want to receive room invites/overwhelmed/have a reason to not be allocated yet/it’s complicated. Place a * in your column so people know.

The arrangements might need to change depending on numbers/requirements. We’ll let you know.

Y – Yes I’m allocated to a cabin

* – Won’t be allocated yet/will allocate later

T – I’ll be in a tent the entire time

YT – I’m bringing a tent but am also allocated to a room

1. Many people with room requirements are still on this list. Please arrange your rooms according to the instructions above anyway – we will then try to place your group in accordance with room requirements.

For example, if you requested to be near the gender neutral bathroom, you’re entire group will be placed near it.

2. Not everyone on the list may end up going to camp.
