one from whom responsible is delegated the work. There is only one accountable specified for each task or

deliverable. Note: Accountable can mean that person is often responsible to deliver the task.

Those who are assigned the work to achieve the task. There is typically one role with responsibility, although

others can be delegated to assist in the work required.

Those whose opinions are sought if something cannot be resolved or problem/issue arises, typically subject

matter experts; and with whom there is two-way communication.

Those who are kept up-to-date on progress, often only on completion of the task or deliverable; and with

whom there is just one-way communication.
