Action for Development assists communities in the achievement of their own development goals. In other words, it aims at ensuring a certain relief for the Afghan population through development programs. Our efforts are spent in ways that maximize the impact of any of our actions and we remain fully accountable to communities where our programs take place.nnThe sustainability of any development program lies within the communities' acceptance of the change. For our action to produce lasting results, communities have to guide the use of resources and learn the managerial and technical skills to do so. This is why our approach is fundamentally community-based. We seek to provide fractured, new, or changing communities with opportunities to work together for a common purpose and the ability to undertake future endeavors of their own. Participation transforms communities into effective teams.nnCommunity involvement in project implementation, and interaction with development organizations leaves them more enabled, ensuring that subsequent programs have lasting effects. Community familiarity with the programs leaves them with expectations. These expectations drive the performance of future implementers and encourage them to engage in a process of learning. Thus the dynamics of development change.nnAfD also emphasizes collaboration with vertical programs and asks of other organizations what we ask of our team members - "How can we make sure that a wide range of health services are provided to people?" AfD believes that yields from separate but related development efforts are maximized through the integration and harmonization of programs.nnToday's efforts and resources should be used to enhance opportunities for a healthy and prosperous life. AfD is committed to helping Afghan communities according to their own development goals and to explore creative avenues to give Afghanistan Solutions for a Brighter Future.

We believe that creating a supportive and enabling environment such as Charmaghz where children can wonder, read, ask questions, be themselves and can have fun, will help our children grow to positive and open-minded individuals. will lead to innovation and development of the country as a whole. Teach for Afghanistan Organization (TAO) mission is to create a movement of collective leadership by empowering young Afghan men and women in most under-resourced schools to ensure all Afghan children have the opportunity to reach its highest potential. TAO provides an opportunity to Afghanistan's most promising university graduates to serve as full-time teachers to children in the country's most under-resourced schools. The fellowship is a two-year long commitment to teach in a classroom and create a productive environment of learning. The fellowship journey develops leadership skills in Fellows by constant support and mentoring. Through the two-year Fellowship program, these change makers get exposed to the grass root reality and then post the Fellowship, they work across the system in their own capacities to solve the educational inequity.nTAO is based in 2 Provinces, Nangarhar and Parwan, has placed 230 Fellows in 69 schools impacting +60,000 students across 8 districts in these provinces. TAO is a partner organization of Teach For All which is a global network of 48 independent partner organizations. Teach For All's purpose is to expand educational opportunity internationally by increasing and accelerating the impact of independent social enterprises.nTAO mission is to create a movement of leaders, Teach for Afghanistan Organization has developed a two-part theory of change.nIn the short-term, through our Fellowship program, we provide an opportunity to Afghanistan's most promising university graduates to serve as full-time teachers to children from low-income communities in most under-resourced schools. During this experience of teaching in classrooms and working with stakeholders like students, principals, and parents, our Fellows get exposed to the grassroots realities of education system and develop the knowledge, skills, and mindsets necessary to attain positions of leadership in the education system.nIn the long-term, we engage these leaders, our Alumni, and support this movement of leaders. Our Alumni work in diverse roles within the education sector, as teachers, teacher-trainers, school principals, curriculum designers, entrepreneurs all with a shared purpose to build a movement for educational equity that will maximize the progress towards that day when all children have the opportunity to attain an excellent education. nTAO wants to streamline Afghan diaspora who has major giving capacity and want to contribute back to the community. Unfortunately, we are still a new organization and partnering with global giving will give us another accreditation and credibility of work making it easier for people who are not able to donate us. Other than that, our main aim to reach more and more people and impact more students which needs considerable support from Afghan diaspora around the world.

At Impacto Digital, our mission is to harness innovative technology to address concrete human rights challenges and catalyze systemic transformations. We identify and scale highly effective community solutions through technological advancements, benefiting thousands of people. Our organization was founded in 2016 on the conviction that innovation and technology are powerful tools to transform reality and ensure the full exercise of human rights. Since then, we have established ourselves as a leading nonprofit organization in creating technology-driven solutions aimed at resolving urgent social challenges. Our unique approach has enabled the implementation of programs and projects that address various areas of work, positively impacting Argentina and Latin America.nnOne of our flagship program is Contrata Trans, that has the mission to overcome the systemic exclusion and discrimination that transgender and non-binary (TNB) individuals face in the job market. We achieve this through several key strategies:nn1. Technology-Driven Solutions: Our platform, www.contratatrans.org, connects TNB job seekers with inclusive employers. This user-friendly website allows TNB individuals to create profiles showcasing their skills and aspirations, while employers committed to diversity can post job openings and search for suitable candidates. This digital interface helps break down traditional recruitment barriers, offering a safe, supportive environment for TNB job seekers.nn2. Comprehensive Training Programs: We provide targeted training for both job seekers and employers. For job seekers, our training covers resume writing, interview skills, and workplace rights, enhancing their marketability and confidence. For employers, we offer workshops on fostering inclusive work environments, addressing unconscious biases, and implementing non-discriminatory policies. This dual training approach ensures that TNB individuals not only gain employment but also thrive in these environments.nn3. Network of Inclusive Employers: We actively build partnerships with a broad network of companies, public entities, and institutions committed to diversity and inclusion. With over 440 companies in our network, Contrata Trans enhances job opportunities for TNB individuals in supportive workplaces, promoting their retention and professional success.nn4. Advocacy and Awareness: We engage in advocacy to heighten awareness about the challenges TNB individuals face and the advantages of inclusive hiring practices. Our public campaigns, workshops, and collaborations with other organizations spotlight these issues, aiming to foster systemic change and reduce societal discrimination against TNB individuals.nn5. Community-Led Leadership: Our initiative is led by TNB professionals, ensuring that our strategies and programs are deeply rooted in the community's experiences and needs. This leadership structure not only provides relevant guidance and support but also positions TNB individuals as capable leaders, contributing to cultural shifts toward acceptance and inclusion.nnContrata Trans is more than a job placement service; we are a movement towards inclusivity and equity. Our mission encompasses several key areas: 1) Empowerment: We empower TNB individuals by providing them with the tools, resources, and support needed to navigate the job market successfully. 2) Visibility: We increase the visibility of TNB professionals in various industries, challenging stereotypes and biases that contribute to discrimination. 3) Support Systems: We build strong support systems within workplaces to ensure TNB individuals feel safe, valued, and respected. 4) Economic Independence: We promote economic autonomy for TNB individuals by facilitating access to stable and fulfilling employment opportunities. 5) Policy Advocacy: We work towards policy changes that promote non-discrimination and inclusivity in workplaces at local, national, and international levels. 6) Community Engagement: We engage with the broader community to foster understanding, acceptance, and support for TNB individuals.nnWe envision a world where TNB individuals have equal opportunities in the job market, free from discrimination and bias. We aim to:nn- Expand Our Reach: Grow our network of inclusive employers and increase our presence in different regions and industries.nInfluence Policy: Advocate for policies that enforce non-discrimination and promote diversity and inclusion in workplaces.n- Foster Cultural Change: Work towards a cultural shift where diversity is celebrated, and TNB individuals are valued for their contributions to the workforce.n- Sustainable Impact: Ensure that the changes we make are sustainable and lead to long-term improvements in the socio-economic conditions of TNB individuals.nnIn summary, Contrata Trans is committed to creating a more inclusive and equitable job market for TNB individuals through technology-driven solutions, comprehensive training, strategic partnerships, advocacy, and community-led leadership. Our mission is to not only facilitate employment but to foster environments where TNB individuals can thrive and succeed.

ISF-Ar develops engineering projects aimed at the fulfillment of fundamental human rights such as water and sanitation, education or work in urban and rural communities in vulnerable situations in Argentina. Its mission is to collaborate in the construction of a just, inclusive and caring society through the participatory elaboration of comprehensive technology-based projects; promote engineering geared towards sustainable human development, the fulfillment of Human Rights, the care of nature and the strengthening of populations in vulnerable situations; and promote a space that integrates diversity and mobilizes citizen participation.n nThe problems to which ISF-Ar responds are situations of social vulnerability in communities characterized by isolation and the absence of the Government. These situations are answered with infrastructure works, whether it be construction and expansion of community infrastructure, such as kindergartens, community spaces and schools, or water supply systems. On the other hand, a response is given by convening the state and other social actors in order to make visible and articulate work networks that strengthen these territories.n nThe strategic priorities of the next three years include 1) Deepening the impact on local development, professionalizing territorial work and coordinating with other social organizations, municipalities and public bodies 2) Increasing the scope and scale of the water access program in rural communities 3) Promote the strengthening program for organizations through community infrastructure and advisory programs 4) Design and implement an intervention strategy in confinement contexts 5) Promote advocacy on public policies and participation in spaces for debate and decision-making in the areas of interest of the organization 6) Systematize and produce knowledge about the experiences, methodologies and topics addressed such as engineering social impact, gender perspective, Infrastructure and human rights, participatory design and climate crisis.n nThe challenges to achieve the objectives are the formation of a professional interdisciplinary team to address social complexity, as well as the economic sustainability of the organization to be able to engage in long-term projects in the territories in a stable way as well as to expand the scale of the interventions. Another great challenge is the articulation with the State, which in many cases depends on the current political scenario. For the objective of producing knowledge and influencing spaces for debate, one challenge is to obtain funds that allow for further study in this regard.

We defend life as a common fabric, where no species is worth more than another, and where every daily action-consuming, dressing, or eating-can be an act of justice or violence.nOur fight for socio-environmental justice stems from the recognition that the damage inflicted on the Earth is a reflection of our own imbalances as a society. Deforestation, pollution, fires, biodiversity loss, and community displacement are direct consequences of a model we must transform. Sustainability that humanizes: three dimensions that transform poverty: nWe want people to get out of poverty. That is our truth. A certainty that we do not intend to stop stating in this way. At least we do not want to give up saying it, that is our food for the journey. But we also know that this enormous burden of hope and dreams contains a great challenge that has to be embedded in reality to find concrete ways of realization.nWe know that entering into the field of poverty itself is an exercise that requires all our energies; in many cases, work in contexts of vulnerability is frustrating and has huge rates of failure. We are also aware that around the world of poverty there are many interests (political, media, cultural, economic) that make it extremely difficult to trust the real human being before us, who is experiencing poverty, and that this conditions the proposal and the response to initiatives that seek concrete solutions.nHowever, we fully believe that it is possible to initiate processes of change. We know this because there are many initiatives that have been successful (this inspires us), because we trust in the path we have taken through our own personal experiences of working in poverty, and because we have started a reflective process that resulted in a concrete proposal.nThe inequality gap continues to grow in the world, we do not need to reflect statistics since they are easy to find. But thinking specifically about Argentina we want to point out a particular characteristic that we will try to address: in many cases poverty is related to the countryside and the city. That is, the 2010 census showed that the rural population is the one that is growing the most in the country (in terms of birth rate) but since agribusiness significantly reduces the space for mobility and exploitation of the land, almost half of the peasantry must leave their homes to live in the outskirts of large cities, thus changing their lifestyle completely and becoming marginalized from society.nThis is the tragic fate that has been suffered by the majority of the country's poor. This is why we seek to respond to poverty in both urban and rural areas. We have become sensitive to both contexts, knowing that if we work in rural areas we help reduce the number of urban poor tomorrow. And we are also certain that addressing urban poverty is responding to the rural displaced of today, or of some past generations.nOur approach will be through three dimensions that we consider key to providing effective solutions to the problem of poverty and misery: Governance, Circular Economy and Territory. We will develop them below.nThese three dimensions must be framed within a horizon of sustainability. That is, the processes that will be initiated have to be permeated by a strong imprint of durability, they have to be sustained over time. In this way, people will gain autonomy and stability.nWe feel that poverty dehumanizes and that getting out of poverty is recovering humanity. Discovering our humanity makes us less poor. Becoming more human offers us a horizon of remuneration in accordance with our aspirations. And fair compensation opens the doors for us to own what is ours, to be what we are.nnMissionn"We build bridges so that people in vulnerable and poor situations incorporate skills that offer them alternatives for sustainability"nnVisionn"That more and more poor people generate autonomy and management, building a better quality of life and greater happiness."nnValuesn The other is always an equaln In the human being there is a potential that can always be developedn There is poverty, not poor peoplen Propose, always thinking that it is sustainablen Accompany, as long as it is sustainablen Intervene, only when it is ecologicaln Cordial treatment and respectn Work is always a team effortn Always taking care of the environment in everythingnnAspects related to our way of proceedingnIt is important to state some situations that may arise along the way to sustain our identity.nWhat "yes" and what "no"?nYESnTraditional construction Bioconstruction, ecological construction, and recycling.nFormal education Technical and artistic training institutions.nWe coordinate with other entities.nNO nGive food nDeliver clothesnProviding medicinesnWe do not provide machinery, tools, etc. if it is not framed within the project and the steps we indicate.nWe do not manage public assets from our office, we do it with the beneficiaries as our visible face.nnGeneral guidance to take into account as triggers, to work with people, and that covers the three proposed dimensions.nn Our community, its ways of living and producing, our territory, our relationships with others, our history, and founding milestones of who we are and who we aspire to be.n Threats or weaknesses of our life in the community (external and internal).n What aspects of our community need to be improved, how can we produce better, and what aspects of our daily life are difficult or we cannot solve alone?n What are our aspirations regarding the products we sell, what could we do together to improve this situation, and what implications do our economic transactions have with the territory in which we live?n What do we understand by well-being, what aspects of our living in the territory do we value, and which do not? How could we achieve greater community well-being and strengthen our roots in our place?

Partnering with local organizations and regional networks not only allows for tailoring interventions to specific contexts and needs but also amplifies the reach and impact of the actions. RES NON VERBA ASOCIACION CIVIL (known as Civic House) is an international nonprofit organization that provides a space for creation and collaboration to boost and integrate high-impact civic innovation initiatives, promoting and supporting their sustainability. Civic House aims to gather a community of initiatives that use technology for social change, striving to make the Latin American region more equitable.nnWithin Civic House, there are several initiatives as shown on its website, https://www.civic.house/en. All these initiatives share the same legal personality, as Civic House provides legal, accounting, and administrative support, allowing the initiatives to focus solely on impact.nnThe grant we are applying for, in partnership with 3M under their 3M Impact Post-Project Support, is related to the Ada ITW initiative. Since 2017, Ada ITW has been committed to reducing the gender gap in the tech world by providing technology training to women and assisting them in their job integration process. Over the past seven years, we have trained more than 30,000 women, nearly 60% of whom are now employed in the IT sector. We offer a range of courses and bootcamps in technology, along with payment ease programs and full scholarships for women and femininities who cannot afford these courses. We collaborate closely with hundreds of social organizations in the region to facilitate job placement. As our training is delivered virtually, our reach is regional, only limited by language barriers.nnI would also like to note that the financial statements and legal documentation we will present belong to Civic House (RES NON VERBA), while the annual budget we will share pertains to Ada ITW internally.

Real School in Goris is founded to create an informal education in Goris which will give the students the opportunity to get both theoretical and practical knowledge and skills, which will be enough to enter the job market easier. Our main goal is to create a techno-park based on that educational platform. To reach this goal, we took the Real School concept and programs and we are implementing the school in Goris as a separate institution. The main mission is like the Real School mission, which can be found below: nThe REAL SCHOOL is providing its graduates with knowledge (theoretical and practical) and skills (professional, personal and social) to succeed in high-tech innovative industry. REAL SCHOOL is a four year collage level program that combines liberal arts in-class education and vocational off-site trainings in R&D organizations, resulting in a level of knowledge comparable to today's Bachelor level graduates of Armenian universities combined with practical skills and CV of a 1-year junior developer in modern IT/High-tech company. The main difference from classical Bachelors program is targeting professional career in the industry, rather than academic career. However it doesn't mean that the applicants are low-level technicians. Modern high-tech industry requires everyday effort in self-education (lifelong learning) due to constantly changing technologies, innovation, new fields, spheres, opportunities. The modern life is not divided into "learn" and "work" segments anymore, but is combining the work & learning process till the last day of the professional career. As a consequence, the classical approach to education (learn only) and to professional career (work only) is failing in XXI century. Our vision of XXI century high-tech organization is a combination of Research, Production and Education formats. An organization that lacks any one of these 3 components, will loose in competition to those who are doing their own innovation, that is close to their own production, and are educating their own staff by maintaining the internship logistics. Our mission is to implement such program in partnership with IT organizations in neighborhood of each RealSchool site. It includes expansion to rural areas of developing countries, helping local industry to upgrade to meet the challenges of innovative high-tech economy.n The liberal arts program is following classical approach to education of a "free citizen" of a republic, i.e. provide understanding of the structure of the world, universe, civilization, economy, which is sufficient for the person to discover their mission for their life or at least for the next 7-12 years, and to develop their skills and knowledge towards fulfillment of that mission. The liberal arts program itself is built in a project-based approach. The projects used in this section of the curriculum are also real-life projects, i.e. they are not invented by professors for educational purposes but are chosen from the infrastructure projects and issues faced by the region/country/world. Examples of such projects for I and II grade students include: 1) Forest recovery, in cooperation with the Armenian Forestry Committee. Green industry projects. Reuse of materials. Effective ovens development. Effective usage of forests/wood in the industry and household. Biodegradable materials development and use in the small scale high-end production. 2) Study of ancient Armenian literature, classical Armenian language, terminology, in cooperation with prominent researchers in the field. Creation of fonts, spell-checkers, translators for modern dialects (western/eastern) of Armenian and classical Armenian. Localization of the GNU SW (Firefox, Thunderbird, OpenOffice, Xfce4, Gimp, Inkscape, etc). 3) Study of ancient musical notation systems and body movement (dance) notation systems, development of SW for musical and ethnographic studies, in cooperation with researches from Armenian Conservatory, institute of Komitas and Armenian song and dance academy. 4) Study of environmental health control and monitoring, development of measurement kits for air, water, soil and ether (electromagnetic) pollution, performance of the measurements and publication/awareness promotion projects 5) Study of information management systems, information security challenges, development of national standards for information age, upgrade of national institutions, ministries to reduce paperwork and use modern IT solutions 6) Study of macroeconomic and microeconomic field, legislation. Development of promotion programs and lobbying for making legislation more friendly towards innovation, startup, family-business and small/medium enterprises. 7) Study of pedagogical and epistemological issues in high-tech post-modern reality, development of extracurricular and curricular studies for middle-school and high-school students. Support and further development of Armath curriculum, in cooperation with original authors of Armath curicula. Augmenting Armath with radio-frequency, electronics, mechatronics and biochemical kits. In the fields of pedagogy and epistemology - the mission is to reconsider foundations of personal training, establishment, attachment and feeling of heartbeat of the civilization, world, universe for a modern human being. From our perspective the history of the epistemology and thought is split into segments of before XIV century (primarily descriptive science), followed by the birth of analytical methods and decomposition, until hitting the ground (subatom, genome, lexical elements) in the mid XX century, and starting the third phase - the age of synthetic science (syntetic materials, synthetic life forms, synthetic languages). At the same time this switch from analytical to synthetical coincided with demographic supernova burst: for ages the population on earth was < 1B, and in XX it jumped to 7B and continues growing. As in the case of supernova - and in general - any bifurcation point - it is hard to predict what will be the next state: the dwarf, black hole, or new star. It is easier to choose desired outcome and invest resources in achieving that outcome, rather than investing in analytical efforts to predict the outcome. Fundamental reconsideration of human beings attitude towards self, towards their planet, their civilization and the universe is due to protect new generation from storm of information they are facing from their birth time, and give them instruments to categorize, prioritize and filter that information, in order to extract the core values, build goals and obtain attachment to life that was "given" in in the past to a person by the life style, and now has became a major problem for new generation, which has hard time finding challenges outside the virtual world of social networks and network games. Parents cannot solve this problem alone. The system needs to be built by the state to help them. Our goal is to provide B2G consulting and active participation in building the new formats and curricula for different age groups. Our consortium has created the Armath program under this mission, is building the Real School program, and has started building the Academic Research Hub for the academic (fundamental research) field as well. Among these, the RealSchool in mid-term has the highest impact on our future.

Disability RightsArmenia
Bridge of Hope NGO is strong local non-governmental organisation, with an effective management and well established financial system, material resources and technical expertise in the field of disability and human rights. The NGO is recognized by national and local authorities and civil society partners in Armenia as the local initiator of inclusive education in the country and an NGO committed to the rights of children with disabilities to equal opportunities in education and community life. nBridge of Hope" (BOH) Armenian NGO is founded in 1996 by parents of children with disabilities and committed individuals from the field of health, education and social protection. Since then BOH has been promoting the disability as human rights issue and promotes the social inclusion of children and youth with disabilities so that their basic human rights are respected and implemented, they are able to make decisions on issues affecting their lives, live independently and with dignity and as active citizens participate equally in all community affairs. BOH programs are developed based on human rights and inclusive approaches for all children and youth including those with disabilities and with other forms of vulnerability. Thus, the organization's development work has influenced paradigm shift in existing approaches to disability issues in Armenia towards the reinforcement of social model of disability in Armenia. nBOH has got strong cooperation with Local and National Governments, international organizations and civil society networks for promoting inclusive education and disability rights in Armenia. Since 1999 BoH projects have been focused on promoting inclusive policies, services and education to enhance equal protection and respect towards the rights, potential and dignity of all children who face exclusion, isolation and neglect because of disability and vulnerable social background. More than 25 different projects are realized since that time with financial support of many international organizations in collaboration with governmental and nongovernmental institutions. All the projects have had impact on education and social protection policies in Armenia. Due to this successful advocacy and cross-sectorial cooperation, inclusive education became a reality in Armenia. The development of inclusive education in has become a state policy and the government is committed to further the sustainable development of inclusion and equity in its education policies and the development agenda. For the contribution in development of inclusive education in Armenia, NGO "Bridge of Hope" has been awarded the Highest Award of the Ministry of Education of Armenia - Gold Medal. nIn 2014 "Bridge of Hope" became the winner of UNESCO Emir Jaber al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah International Prize 2013 to Promote Quality Inclusive Education for Persons with Disabilities (also please visit www.bridgeofhope.am). nBOH community based services is another direction of its development work directed to creation of equal access for children and youth with disabilities to community life and independent living. In between 2001-2004 BOH has opened 5 centers for "Child Development and social inclusion" in Yerevan and 4 regional centers of Tavush Marz - Dilijan, Ijevan, Berd and Noyemebryan. These centers have become doorways from exclusion to inclusion for hundreds of young children and youth with disabilities and their families. The municipalities of Dilijan, Ijevan, Berd and Noyemebryan have provided these centers big buildings free of charge and cover 15% of running costs of the centers through the community budgets. Every year BOH raises funds from different national and international donors to keep the centers functioning and serving to more than 500 children and youth with disables and their families. Up to date about 1200 children and youth with disabilities (with physical, hearing and visual, intellectual, mental, behavioral and emotional problems) benefitted from BOH inclusive services, many of them have become a productive and active adolescents and youth leading independent and dignified lives. n"Bridge of Hope" NGO is member of European Association of Service Providers for People with Disabilities (EASPD): https://www.easpd.eu/ , and Inclusion International: https://inclusion-international.org/.
