Creating Batch Requests
21
To create a request, select a request type worksheet. Complete the required fields which are indicated by column headers in red bold font. Each request is contained in one row in the worksheet.
22
23
DO NOT change the column headers. They are required for the upload mechanism to work properly. Comments attached to column headers provide additional information on the meaning of these fields.
24
25
You must select values from pick lists in fields where they are provided. Pick list values appear in the “Metadata” tab in this spreadsheet.
26
27
Requests that refer to other concepts, such as the "Parent Concept Id" in a "New Concept Request," also contain a "Source Terminology" field. The identifier (Id) that you enter is expected to exist in the selected source terminology and will eventually be automatically validated by the system.
28
29
In addition to “SNOMED CT International,” the Source Terminology pick list includes two additional values: "New Concept Requests" and "Current Batch Requests."
30
31
“New Concept Requests” in Source Terminology indicates that the current request refers to a request already submitted to CRS. Use the search features of CRS to find the request to which you want to attach new children.
32
33
“Current Batch Requests” in Source Terminology indicates that the current request refers to another request within the same batch.
