When can I apply for sponsorship?

APF assigns an annual budget for funding of appropriate sport development events and projects

Once approved by APF Board, budget is released in two, six monthly tranches January - June and July - December

Members can apply for funding for events and projects to be held in the 6 monthly period whilst budget remains available

How do I calculate the amount of sponsorship applicable to my application?

Sponsorship is calculated based on a % of the total cost for 'supported' items e.g. coach fees

APF pre-determines a maximum value for each supported cost - if your value is greater, the APF maximum value will be applied, if your value is less, your value is applied

Complete the 'Estimate' and 'Budget' sections of the "Required information" tab to estimate your APF funding which will be calculated using the model

How do I know what registration I need to charge?

As the organiser, you are responsible for managing the event including the budget. Any loss incurred during the event will not be covered by APF so ensure you budget carefully.

APF funding is one income stream amongst others you will need to organise to cover all your costs.

Typically, participant registration fees cover remaining costs after all other income streams have been agreed e.g. APF, Area Council, DZ sponsorship etc.

Once my application is approved, how do I receive funding payment?

After your event, update the 'Actual' details in your original sponsorship calculation template.

Go to your online application workflow and complete the post event report details and attach tax invoices for supported cost items and the updated sponsorship calculation template

Once you have finalised your acquittal, APF will liase with you to process the payment.
