Mathew BondYesStreamline the approval process for purpose built rental and non-market rental with the following actions: - Pre-zone District owned land for non-market rental, then search for funding and operating partners. - Use density bonus, rental only zoning and other incentives to make purpose built rental homes financially viable. - Introduce priority permit processing for projects that meet purpose built rental and affordable rental criteria. - Establish a North Shore workforce housing authority with the City of North Vancouver and District of West Vancouver.

Greg RobinsYesThe National Housing Strategy is a $40 billion dollar fund to build 10,000 homes across Canada in 10 years. The BC Community Housing Fund is a $1.9 billion dollar fund for over 14,000 units province-wide. I will tirelessly work with staff and all levels of government to obtain and use these funds to build the affordable rental housing we desperately need.

Jordan BackYesFirst of all, we need to build more rental housing (of all forms). I will be a strong voice for getting purpose built rental housing happening near transit and our Town Centres. I'd also like to see where we can zone areas as rental only and also allow more flexibility around secondary suites and coach houses.
