10	September 7	Classes resume Registration waitlisting (varies by class) ends for first half courses
11	September 10	Deadline to upload your vaccination card reflecting your first COVID-19 shot. Unvaccinated students are not allowed on campus and violation of this requirement will result in disciplinary action. Review Vaccine Mandate FAQs for more information.
12	September 13	Last day 100% tuition refund – 1st half courses. Emailed and/or in-person course drop requests must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office by 4 p.m. SAIL adjustments can be made until 11:59 p.m. Please send email requests to regservices@oakland.edu. Registration waitlisting (varies by class) ends for full semester courses Last day to add a class - 1st half courses
13	September 14-20	Second week of late registration – instructor approval required to register/add full semester class(es). A permission override is required for open classes. A late registration override is required for closed classes. Overrides approval is not guaranteed and is at the instructors discretion.
14	September 20	Last day 100% tuition refund – full semester courses. Emailed and/or in-person course drop requests must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office by 4 p.m. SAIL adjustments can be made until 11:59 p.m. Please send email requests to regservices@oakland.edu. Last day to add a class Last day to declare audit Last day "no-grade" drop Financial aid credit lock: Financial aid is based on the registered courses and course credits as of 11:59 pm. Courses and credits added after that time are not considered in financial aid budgets or for disbursement of financial aid scholarships, grants, loans, and awards.

19	October 8	Deadline to upload your vaccination card with complete COVID-19 vaccinations. Unvaccinated students are not allowed on campus and violation of this requirement will result in disciplinary action. Review Vaccine Mandate FAQs for more information.
20	October 13	Last day to complete competency exams
21	October 17 - 19	First Half session (8 weeks) - Faculty members are prohibited from giving in-class or online examinations or tests that are in-lieu of final examinations during the last 7 calendar days prior to the start of the final examination period of any fall or winter semester, the last 3 calendar days of any seven-week session, and an appropriately adjusted number of days for other parts-of-term. This policy also covers quizzes if the particular quiz accounts for more than 10% of the course grade. Homework assignments, term projects, presentations, laboratory exams or reports, and short quizzes (quizzes worth less than or equal to 10% of the course grade) are not covered by this policy. Violation of this policy will be first referred to the Dean of the academic unit that offers the course. A student may contact the Academic Affairs Office if the issue is not resolved by the academic unit. Faculty members are urged to keep heavy end-of-term student workload in mind when assigning short quizzes or other tests during the periods noted above.

27	November 9	Last day to obtain thesis/dissertation or DScPT report format approval from The Graduate School.
28	November 16	Last day to submit thesis/dissertation or DScPT report to The Graduate School in fulfillment of degree requirements.
29	November 22	Federal financial aid recipients enrolled in second half courses: Last day to return federal financial aid funds for students who stopped attending all courses.
30	November 24	Thanksgiving recess begins 10 p.m. Last day official withdrawal – 2nd half courses
