Tod Kurt / todbothttps://hackaday.io/todbotIs Espruino on Cortex-M0 possible? (e.g. SAMD21)
4
MIchal MühlpachrWhat do think about mJS approach ?https://github.com/cesanta/mjs
5
PaulGDo you plan to create an Espruino LoRa (node not a gateway) or Espruino ESP32?
6
Patrick Van Oosterwijckhttps://hackaday.io/xorbitHow is the ESP32 port coming along?
7
Boian Mitovhttps://hackaday.io/mitovWhat is the advantage of using an interpreter compared to the Arduino Wire API for example?
8
Boian Mitovhttps://hackaday.io/mitovCan it handle interrupts from modules?
9
Boian Mitovhttps://hackaday.io/mitovHow are interfaces like SPI, I2C etc. handled?
10
jipe_rey (yerpj)https://hackaday.io/ReyWhat about embedding Espruino in a freertos thread? Make sense? Planned?
11
Radomir DopieralskideshipuHow does it currently compare to NodeMCU and MicroPython? In terms of speed, free memory, supported peripherals, libraries, etc.

In terms of callbacks, how deep can it go? What kind of stack depth limits are there?
13
Tod Kurt / todbothttps://hackaday.io/todbotnpm-like package manager for Espruino?Does the question even make sense for embedded?

Do you think having interpreted languages on microcontroller is changing the way people make things? If so, how?

Where do you see the future of Javascript (or other interpreted lagnauges) on microcontrollers going? Does it scale into industry?

PaulGYeah, this is off topic too. Another time. Re : making a living, I hear you. How abt spreading your net wider? There must be millions of LAMP devs out there (like I was) who would find Espruino a very easy ramp up to IoT - could you not tap this reservoir of devs, they (sometimes) pay for ppl to give talks. All of these ppl must have basic js skills and must be wondering what all this ioT fuss is about. I think future 'full stack devs' are going to have to grok this phenomenon. Time is running out on this chat so I'll just mention this. I just watched your "sonoff" vid today, you are a great communicator. Maybe if you cast yourself as an "iot advocate" more than an "espruino advocate" - you'd actually end up selling more boards. The best dev days I went too always had a presentation which came from "left field".
