The sheet labelled "Course Averages (summary)" is a breakdown of course averages and class sizes for each course, by professor. Sections are averaged using a median value.
4
5
The sheet labelled "Course Averages (long form)" has a row for each section, allowing you to see variation between sections taught by a single professor during the same year.

It also has a column for "term", to see if grades vary much between years.

In cases where multiple entries are made for a single course/term/section, the median value is used to reduce the impact of human error.
6
7
The sheet labelled "Just the data" is the same as the "long form" data, but without row totals. Maybe you're into that, I don't judge.

Useful if you're looking to do some math yourself.
