Master Gardeners of Douglas
County Scholarship
$1,0004/24/2026Applicant should be pursuing a future in a horticulture or horticulture-related career (examples include floriculture & nursery production,
plant breeding & genetics, turfgrass science, horticulture, landscaping, plant biotechnology, arboriculture, environmental studies or viticulture.)
An agriculture or agriculture-related career path may be considered at the discretion of the University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardeners
of Douglas County scholarship committee.

Applicant must be graduating from an area high school in 2026 and be a resident of Douglas, Todd or Pope County; or a resident of
Douglas, Todd or Pope county who is currently registered at a post-secondary education institution.

Applicant must be planning to enroll or be enrolled in a two, three, or four-year post-secondary education institution.

The TSMA Scholarship is for a high school student considering post-secondary education in a manufacturing in the Tri-State Region.
The Scholarship Committee will award two $500 scholarships! 2-4 year and certificate programs are eligible.

Minnesota LDEI ScholarshipsVaries5/1/2026The Minnesota chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier has provided Minnesota women with scholarships in the fields of food, beverage
and hospitality for over 20 years. During that time, we have given over $63,000 in scholarships.

Our scholarships are given to qualified women applicants pursuing full-time or part-time academic coursework in the fields of culinary
arts, hospitality, beverage, food science, nutrition, agriculture and/or related areas of study. The amount of each scholarship given is a
minimum of $2,000 and can be more, based on need. Applicants are judged on their career and academic goals and performance, leadership
qualities, financial need and community service.

The following criteria must be met by women applying for this scholarship:

Applicants must be residents of the State of Minnesota
Applicants must be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited post-secondary program in the United States
Applicants must submit the completed application along with the required Essay, Resume, Transcript and Two Letters of Recommendation

Accepted into an accredited undergraduate cybersecurity program or a closely related field at a US college or university

Pioneer Heritage Conservation
Trust's (PHCT) Post-Secondary Student
Scholarship program
$1,5005/31/2026A one-time scholarship of $1,500 is available for students who are or will be attending a college or university as a full-time student with a major
in one of the following fields: Wildlife, Conservation, Natural Resources. Student must be a resident of Douglas, Grant, Otter Tail or Pope Counties.
Student must maintain a GPA of 2.0 (on 4-point scale) to qualify. Application deadline is May 31st for the school year beginning the following fall.
Payment is made after PHCT receives the fall semester college transcript and proof of spring semester college registration. The number of awards
made each year is determined by the Board of Directors.
