12		Join us for our Back-to-school Ice Cream Social & Discover Summit Night. This is an evening you won't want to miss! Meet your teacher, check out your classroom and learn more about all your child's classroom details, along with the activities and opportunities happening at Summit. Also, meet Summit Board members and our HOS for a Summit presentation.

16		We welcome active participation of our Summit families. Consider joining us this year for a Summit Board of Trustees' meeting, which are usually the 4th Thursday of the month.

18		Don't cook and support Summit instead! Eat at Raising Cane's and 15% of the proceeds will benefit Summit Schools.

25		Join your child(ren) for lunch! This is a great opportunity for you to enjoy school lunch (order the week prior) or bring your own lunch ,and spend time with other Summit parents, too! Lunch times: Pod 1: 11:30 (PreK, K, 1), Pod 2: 12:00 (2, 3, 4), Pod 3: 12:30 (5-8)
26	Fri., September 5 / 7:00 p.m.	PTO Sponsored Night Under the Stars - Outdoor Movie Night at Summit: How to Train Your Dragon (2025)
27		Bring your family, lawnchairs and blankets to join us on the Summit playground for a free movie under the stars with your Summit families and friends! Playground opens at 7:00 p.m. and the movie will start at 7:30 p.m. Bring chairs and/or blankets and your own snacks/drinks, or enjoy various concessions that will be on sale.
28	Tues., September 9 / 6:30 p.m.	PTO Meeting
29		Adults: Join us at Summit for a casual evening to get to know other Summit parents/grandparents and learn more about the role of Summit's PTO.

31		Students celebrate monthly birthdays with Ms. April during the lunch hour with a special treat!
32	September 15-19	Goal Setting Conferences
33		We believe that education is a partnership between the school, families, teachers, and students. You and your child, along with their teacher, will discuss goals for your child's continued success this year.

37		Join us for the 6 week program on Thursday mornings, beginning Sept. 18 and ending Oct. 23. We begin at 7:30 with warm-ups then run on the Harding track.
