Prior to the pandemic, our tools for connection did not help us close the connection or empathy gap, and some could even argue that they created more distance. But I had a magic moment of connection, with anonymous strangers no less, as I participated in a collaborative public experience that culminated in 50,000 sticky notes on the walls of a subway station.
