21	We have 661 listed members and currently 602 of these have paid. It is difficult to gather accurate comparable data due to inconsistencies in how we record our membership information and the difficulties in getting statistics from these. These numbers are taken from the membership spreadsheets archived from year to year. According to this data there has been very little change to our membership numbers over the years when recorded at the end of the year. Large fluctuations have appeared in membership reports previously but I believe that is due to a inconsistencies in the data we are comparing. I feel that these numbers show a heathly and consistant membership for SLANZA from 2014 to 2017. If the the Auckland region continues to grow it might be time to consider spilting it in two to make it more managable and equal to other regions.
