Then a bigger fire occurred in the absorption tower of PLTU 6 PT Walsin Nickel Industrial Indonesia (WNII) Morowali.

Workers were installing filters at Griding smelter 1 facility. Sparks allegedly emerged from workers in the welding or welder process, then bursts of fire and coal appeared which hit other workers.
