Overall results:

6
Our data suggests that a well built Xiangling will slightly outperform a well built Fischl in a single target scenario with similar levels of equipment, but only with a
7
specific team composition. In a multiple target scenario with similar levels of equipment, Xiangling greatly outperforms Fischl. In addition, Xiangling deals pyro
8
damage which is greatly augmented in Spiral Abyss Floor 12, the current hardest content available.
9
10
The most noticeable difference between Xiangling and Fischl support is the ease of use. Xiangling requires a very strict rotation of supports in order to fuel her immense
11
energy requirements and to maximize her strengths. Fischl is extremely flexible, very user friendly, and doesn't need supports to augment her. However the fact that she
12
doesn't need supports to augment her creates a weakness. Fischl has a lower damage ceiling than Xiangling. This mostly comes from how weak electro reactions are
13
compared to pyro reactions.

Team Comp:
17
18
The recommended team comp is:
19
Childe, Xiangling, Pyro, Anemo
20
21
However, using Xiangling heavily favors Bennet for Pyro and Sucrose for Anemo. Xiangling has a higher energy requirement because she herself does not generate
22
consistent pyro energy. This means she must gain a majority of her pyro energy from someone else on your team. Bennett generates the most amount of pyro energy in the
23
shortest amount of time. In addition to being a healer and giving an ATK buff, he is the BiS for Pryo. Anemo is more flexible compared to Pyro. Your only requirement is
24
being able to use multiple skills in quick succession or having a low cd on their E. Sucrose is BiS for anemo because she can apply VV as well as gives the rest of her team
25
EM, which will augment Xiangling's vaporize damage.

45
There are two builds for Xiangling: Full damage or ER.
46
47
At the highest levels of investment, both builds perform similiarly with full damage build being slightly ahead. However many players may prefer the ER build for more
48
frequent Q usages from Xiangling.
49
50
There are only two significant thresholds on ER for Xiangling: 100% ER and 200% ER. We want to use Xiangling's Q in 24s increments. This is because with a C0 Childe, you'll
51
want to end melee stance in 9s, which is in-line with the end of Xiangling's Pyronado. This will result in Childe's E having a 15s cd, creating a 24s cycle time before his next E.
52
53
With a well built team and proper rotations you can use Xiangling's Q every 48s, so there's no need to build any ER in your artifacts. This means you can build into full
54
damage with ATK% / Pyro% / Crit or Crit DMG.
55
56
At 200% ER, you can use Xiangling's Q every 24s, assuming proper team and rotations. However reaching 200% isn't easy without relying on ER sands or a ER weapon. This means
57
your weapon choice heavily dictates your build. Having both ER weapon and ER sands means you'll only need a few ER substats to reach 200% ER with minimal impact on the
58
damage substats on your artifacts.
59
60
It is not recomended to try and reach 200% ER with a damage weapon. It would cost 3 perfectly rolled ER artifacts and a ER sands which would heavily weaken your overall
61
damage from weak substats. So you are using a damage weapon, it is recommended that you build full damage with a 48s rotation on Xiangling's Q. If you are using a ER weapon,
62
it is recommended that you try to reach 200% ER for a 24s rotation on Xiangling's Q.
63
64
Using a ER sands on a damage weapon creates a 1.5 rotation cycle with Xiangling. You'll need to use charge shots instead of melees at the end of 36s.
