1)Minimums: 21 units of Math; 17 units of science; two ENGR Fundamentals courses; 34 units engineering coursework in Engineering Depth; additional courses as needed to bring total program units to a minimum of 90 units.

2)All courses listed in Engineering Depth must be offerings from the School of Engineering, and must be drawn from coursework accepted by other majors within the SoE at the core/depth level. No IntroSems, 1- or 2-unit survey/professional/personal interest courses (such as MS&E 475, ENGR 103, or ME 104B), ENGR 1 or 2, Student Initiated Courses (SIC), or Sophomore College (SC) courses to satisfy any req't. A grade of C- or better is required.

4)One WIM course, usually the TiS or a Depth ENGR course, to be determined in consultation with your IDMEN advisors

5)Choose 2 courses from SoE-approved Engineering Fundmantals at ughb.stanford.edu. Only one course in a numbered series may be used; a grade of C- or better is required. ENGR 40M & 50M are offered via video on some overseas BOSP campuses.

6)At least one engineering course or sequence that is intended as a capstone/senior project course in a SoE major, with content and activities that are relevant to your proposed goals. Check Major pages on UGHB site for related major capstone options.
