Mount Sinai SOMNY, NYDecember 6thWorking with Student Council and our Administration to plan an advocacy week. Dec 3-5 = 4 teach-ins. Monday two events, one about "physician advocacy training" another about the details of the "public charge regulation." Tuesday about "trauma informed care and advocacy." Wednesday LMSA and SNMA are working together to plan a talk celebrating our students' diverse backgrounds. Thursday we will have a public comment drive in the hospital lobby and then a student dinner that evening.

Reserve the AMS 2nd floor by the couches and provide guidance on writing the public comment (what sorts of things to include but no script), and encourage people to write them as individualized as possible.
Have people sign in and sign out once they have submitted a comment.
Ask for funding from Med Ed for refreshments & snacks
