|*It is the policy of the board of education of Ogden City School District, in partnership with parents and families and in accordance with state and federal guidelines to establish a parent and family involvement procedural framework.|
*It is the policy of the Board of Education of Ogden City School District that the district and schools coordinate with families to improve student academic rediness to learn and academic outcomes.
*It is the policy of the Board of education of Ogden City School District that the district and schools will inform all stakeholders of the parent and family involvement policy and procedures, and annually update its effectiveness.
|Some examples of Parent Engagement Activities at Heritage Elementary are:|
|*Increase parent engagment: electronic registration translation & support, daily family contact for chronic absences & host 3 family nights-1) Trunk or Treat, 2) Literacy, 3) STEM|
|70% of Heritage students will make four stars or more growth in their Pathways to Progress DIBELS specific grade level goal.|
|100% of Heritage students will reach grade level or 1 level of growth on Math Fluency by January 15, 2019. 100% of Heritage teachers will successfully complete a minimum of one level of Second Steps instruction with their class (approximately 22 weeks of lessons).|
|100% of grades will have 65% or more of their students scoring a 3 on a 4 level writing rubric.|
