I am writing to inform you of a new and exciting outdoor education resource for educators and students of all ages and backgrounds - the Beaver Educator Resource Library!
22
Street AddressStreet Address where the field trip site is located
Why beavers? Beavers are ecosystem engineers that provide invaluable services that benefit us all, including but not limited to water quality improvement, native habitat enhancement, and climate change resilience. Beavers have played an integral role in shaping lands and cultures around the world, and after being trapped to near extinction in the U.S. during European settlement in the 1800’s, they’re making a comeback! Beavers present us with a story about climate change that is, for once, an uplifting one.
