None of the above. If anything, I'd go with "attachment" similar to the Volumes API concept of the same name: https://developer.openstack.org/api-ref/block-storage/v3/index.html#attachments

Hi Jay, the term 'attachment' is used by Nova virt today for the last step where a port/volume/device is 'attached' to an instance.
