When results show that the incidence of mite is more than 1 in every 10 fruit. A spray of Abamectin needs to be applied at a rate of 2mL/13L knapsack. Bear in mind that Abamectin is very powerful and resisitance may develop if overused. Please ensure full repoting of this in the monthly reports. Abamectin to be used only ONCE in a season

Fruit FlyFruit Fly Protein Bait Spray with thickener & insecticide
Male annihililation MAT blocks at 20 per hactare replace every 3 months.
Trees approaching fruiting maturityTrees approaching fruiting maturity with fruit about to colour should be sprayed with Bait Spray. It is as the sugars come into the fruit that the fruit flies will attack, we want to prevent this. Strip spray mid-foliage with KNAPSACK (not mistblower as this may spread too far). To be applied every 7 days or after rain during the fruit ripening season. Once mixed the solution needs to be used within 24 hours. Spot spray in areas where fruit is thin and band spray for heavier fruiting trees.
