Attached is BOM for the WCP 2017 MCC Robot. This is as complete as we can get it
Attached is also a table of improvements and notes.

Drivetrain

1Teams should use #8-32 bolts to assemble the drivetrain together

2Teams can either purchase the WCP DS or Ball Shifter or any of the other WCP DS Gearboxes

3We recommend Teams gear around 14-15 FPS in high and 6-8 FPS in low gear

4Teams will need to be creative and use more brackets to support the frame perimeter & Bumpers

5Any protrusions sticking outside of the bumper perimeter in CAD will need to be dealt by the teams

6Collars, snap rings or bolts can be used to retain the versachassis hex shaft

7Gussets on battery box will need to be cut and or modfiied.

Intake

1Add polycarbonate panels to retain balls, can be purchaed from WCP or HomeDepot

2Figure 8 polycord pulley to reverse roller direction

3Teams can mess with versaplanetary Gear ratio to get different intake feeds

4In intaking the top two spin in and bottom needs to spin out in ordr for balls not to spit out as entered

Hanger/Elevator

1Teams will need to buy a 1/2" hex ratchet wrench and install into the top hex shaft or bottom

2Recommend teams assemble elevator on the side and drop in later

3The entire travel will be needed to hang

4Custom assembly to retain the rope at the top, this keeps the robot from slipping and rotating

5Teams can purchase different length air cylinders, we used what we had on hand.

6Mounting the air cylinder to the pushing roughtop will probably be via hoseclamp

7Teams will need to add current sensing or hardstops to the top and bottom of the elevator

8We recommend using the WCP hall effect for this scenario

9We recommend assembling the linear motion kit as described in the kit's drawing

Gear Arm

1The gear arm works by having the intake rollers suck down the gear

2We current limited the gear arm via the Talon SRX so it wouldn't break/more controllable

3Teams will need to be careful of how far the gear arm sprocket sits outside the frame perimeter

Teams will have to mess around with cutout size of the polycarb size and any other panels to ensure gear freely comes in and does not slip out

5Teams need to link both sides of the gear arm together, such as with an aluminum plate.
