The graph was extracted after conducting research on census, gov. It hows the trends of quarterly changes in US e-commerce from the first quarter of 2001through fourth quarter of 2010. Our focus here is on quarterly changes in US e-commerce, from the first quarter of 2009 throught the first. We look at the trends of estimated qaurterly U.S. Retail e-commerce sales as a percent pf total quarterly retail sales, from the first quarter of 2009 through the first quarter of 2010. We can deduct that there was an increase in retail e-commerce sales from the first quarter of 2009 through the fourth quarter of 2009, then a decrease in retail e-commerce sales in the first quater of 2010. We based our deduction on adjusted basis for accuracy.
