The resources listed on this document are provided to parents and community members in accordance with Suffolk Public Schools Policy 8-24.5. Policy 8-24.5 provides definitions for sexually explicit content and establishes procedures for:
--Identifying all instructional materials with sexually explicit content
--Ensuring parent notification
--Acknowledging parent’s right to review identified content
--Providing alternative instructional material(s)
Please use the tabs to the right to access the tabs below. SPS has verified with currently adopted textbook vendors that their materials do not contain sexually explicit content. These materials will be regularly updated as needed.
