1Jalen CarterDLGeorgia
Absurd combination of power, speed, and agility. One of the fastest first steps in college football. Doesn't just try to with athleticism. Knows how to place his hands to create leverage, rip, or fight to create quick space. All out rusher. Usually shuffled around and rotated out depending on opposing gameplans. Might have conditioning concerns between Ohio State game and Pro Day. Just okay against the rush, more of a mix into a pile guy than a demanding gap stopper. Consistently shoots for the edge of blockers and looks to beat them with speed and violence over pure power. Lowers his head and loses against big brick wall OL. Had an unnecessarily bad game vs Torrence. Has knee injury concerns.

2C.J. StroudQBOhio State
Redshirted freshman year and then started two years. Uncanny accuracy when on. Had to make a variety of throws and all depths of the field. Can place a ball on a pinpoint. Great form with a compact throwing motion. Has about as strong an arm as Levis with way better feel for routes. Holds the ball for a while. Not sure if it's by design with the complex routes that Fields dealt with or if it's just Stroud. Likes to backpedal when facing pressure. Great combine performance, hit every route except deep sideline. Fantastic performance against top tier Georgia defense in CFP.

3Bryce YoungQBAlabama
Had spot play behind Mac Jones before starting for two years. Great arm strength at intermediate routes. Sails a bit on deep routes but not too much. Looks effortless in the throwing mechanics. Quick in the pocket, can change direction and keep plays alive. Pretty smart and diagnoses the field well, maybe to the point of going through too much progression before delivering the ball. Had a crappy play caller. Forced into a lot of design hot routes and complex crossing routes. Holds the ball for too long sometimes, not sure if it's him or Bill O'Brien. Small with a slight build but no serious injury history.
5
4Will Anderson Jr.EdgeAlabama
Square up and beat you edge rusher. Utilized on both sides of the line usually against whichever tackle couldn't handle a bull rush. Utilizes power and speed with superb leverage to set up OTs for rips and dips. Can backfire and be swallowed up by bigger OTs. Had a non-impressive stretch of games this year where he looked like just a guy. Still top producing stat gainer. Decent stick behind the line, has disicpline against the run game and moving QBs. Smart and patient. Noticeably gets tired towards the end of games but probably anyone would with how active he is. Can also stand up as a 3-4 or 4-3 OLB. More of an in game player than tester, not as athletic as the other edge rushers in the class but no slouch either.
6
5Tyree WilsonEdge/DLTexas Tech
Rotational player for two years before starting predominately on the strong side. Pure power. Destroys double teams with ease. All power rush and getting thin. Bullies tackles by winning hand fights but has issues with getting to his position in time. Still wins those fights but it delays his pass rush as he has to reset. Lack of explosion could be due to skill at tracking backfield action. More cerebral and deliberant than ponderous. Better at sticking QBs and RBs behind the line than WAJ. More of a crashing technique getting into a gap than decisive. Play style doesn't lend to bend so will have to rely on power and dip skills against bigger opponents than Big 12 OL. Elite rush stopping skills could see him on the strong side which might not be worth a top pick.
7
6Bijan RobinsonRBTexas
Split rushing duties all three years at Texas. Criminally underutilized in Sarkisian's system. Often abandoned in the run game or not targeted enough out of the backfield. Shades of Barkley in playstyle and athleticism. Almost as gifted of a receiver and possibly a better pure runner. Dances a bit behind the line and doesn't always cut and go. Would be way better if he did. Great burst and top end speed, NFL quality but not on the same level as Barkley. Makes up for it with decisive power and balance once he gets to the second level. Just okay in pass protection. Got obliterated by Alabama's heavy front.
8
7Devon WitherspoonCBIllinois
Unranked going into college, didn't start playing football til his junior year of high school and community college for grades before getting into D1. Great press corner. Kind of slight at the line but makes up for it sticking to routes tightly. Great change of acceleration. Big hitter despite size, has good technique and can get to underneath routes quickly. Point of catch defender that outruns WRs and shields well with his body. Gambles a lot. Plays back on his heels in zone coverage, lets receivers catch before closing for a hit when not pressing. Skipped the combine due to a hamstring injury during medicals on Day 1.
9
8Myles MurphyEdge/DLClemson
Likes to win with strength and dips. Works the edges outside with the shoulder dip and does hand fighting to gain room when going inside. Hard to stop once he gets momentum, aims to crash into QB with an OT on him so regularly it feels like a technique. Gets decent pressure but needs to be more aggressive behind the line. Technique isn't there in the run game. Has to man gaps better and not get guided away. Not always on the field. Probably the most athletically gifted player in the draft, could be a force but raw right now. Flashes elite pass rushing moves every now and then. Has oddly tiny hands. Doesn't always pursue strong enough if the play is away from him. Promising combination of power and speed that could rival the other top edge rushers in the draft but needs to be more consistent in deploying it.
10
9Michael MayerTENotre Dame
Focal point of Notre Dame's offense last two years leading the team in receptions both years. Big target with large catch radius and good ability for shielding defenders from the catch point. Adequate to good blocking and decent get off can have him playing on the line or standing up. Not a separation guy unless its at the point of his cut, prefers to flip his hips over quick feet when breaking. Great knack for finding open space and will break off routes to get there. Route tree was predominately seam work, ins, and drag routes. Good size for college blocking but will probably be just okay at it at the next level. Lumbers when he runs, doesn't look pretty but produces results. Isn't the fastest but can get to his spot in time and fight after the catch. Strong against second level. Can pop guys or drag them for extra yards. Hip injury limited his playing time at the end of the season but didn't knock him out of any games.
11
10Anthony RichardsonQBFlorida
Two years as a backup at Penn State before starting two years at Kentucky. Compact throw motion. Ball gets out incredibly quick when he decides to actually get rid of it. Great arm, can bomb it deep but does have a cap. Not elite arm strength but still top tier. Tries to do too much. Gets bailed out by WRs sometimes, likes to throw into coverage. Not the best placement and likes to lift his back foot when trying to fit into tiny windows. Classic size for the position. Old (will be 24 by start of season) and coming off of turf toe plagued down year. Don't think he had a good combine or pro day. Couldn't hit out routes and poor timing on slant drills. Just in general shoddy to bad accuracy on deep routes. His offensive line sucked, constantly had people in his face and had to scramble. WRs were fine, Levis obviously trusted them but they also had to bite off routes early due to o-line. Played through a ton of injuries.
12
11Paris Johnson Jr.OT/GOhio State
One year starter at LT with another year at RG. Looked much more comfortable and was able to use his feet more at LT. Quick off the snap, likes to gain position rather than fighting with upper body. Kind of lazy with his hands at times but displays sound technique more often. Won't ever finish a rusher. Aims to lockdown and shuffle with the rush to guide out the edge or pin them back into the pile if he's stronger. Great footwork and agility in pass protection. Lack of strength seems to be a technique issue when playing guard. Needs to get lower and drive more in the rush game. Might get called for holds a lot at the next level. Should probably be utilized in zone blocking schemes.
13
12Joey Porter Jr.CB/SPenn State
Huge press corner that aims to bully every route and is great at it. Will just move receivers straight out of bounds off a hashmark. Total sieve his first two years before producing at an elite level his last two. Good route recognition skills and athleticism to keep up with a variety of receiver profiles. Stout in the run game and fighting through blocks when teams try to hit him in the flats. Lacks the Saban back pedal. Can have trouble with speed guys because of it, although that's more of a technique issue than lack of athleticism. Should probably be a corner but might have to shift to safety if he can't improve his vertical and technique against speed guys. More of an in game jumper than how he tested at the combine, but still relies on speed and size to fight high point contesting rather than leaping ability.
14
13Christian GonzalezCBOregon
Project player that could have lockdown corner ceiling. Speed and agility to stick with entire route tree and a variety of experience in man and zone. Also utilized on both sides of the field and in the slot. Gambles a lot both for INTs and before WRs make their route known. Needs to become more patient before breaks. Elite ability to flip hips and change direction for recovery on route misreads negates mistakes. Feet and hip bend are best in the class or at least near it. Only one year of ballhawking. Nothing special in the run game or as a tackler. One of the youngest players in the draft and a rescue transfer out of Colorado but has decent experience starting.
15
14Brian BranchCB/SAlabama
Nickel corner for Alabama while also shifting to safety at times. All around player with decent height and solid athleticism. Often tasked with covering the playmaking short yardage receiver. Great at reading and reacting to routes, recognizing play action, and recognizing run plays. Strong for a coverage corner and can stick RBs like a linebacker. Seems to avoid doing it at times most likely because tackling hurts like hell. Great short area agility with a knack for recognizing receiver's short route breaks. Doesn't break on the ball well. Needs to be more assertive after recognizing the route. Only one year of good play under his belt but consistently had thankless assignments that would produce yards on any DB.
16
15Broderick JonesOTGeorgia
Two year starter at LT. Great waist bend, core strength, and upper body strength. Manhandles edge rushers and DTs alike. Down blocker in the run game or can easily sweep outside due to his quick feet. Smart player initially but then lacks discipline as the snap continues. Will read a stunt perfectly then lunge too soon negating any positioning. Seems to want to get his hands on defenders over completing the play. Can have problems with obstitent edge rushers that scrap through his initial block set. So strong he looks to move defenders with his arms instead of roadgrading them which he's capable of. Seems to have similar problems that Andrew Thomas initially displayed coming out of a Kirby Smart system that values stout pockets over the fluidity necessary at NFL speed.
17
16Drew SandersILB/OLBArkansas
OLB and ILB for Arkansas. High production blitzer. Decisive with a great first step that usually gets him into position to dip or bounce through blockers. Decently strong, more length and speed than a bull rusher. Likes to get into OT's space to limit hand fighting to quick sheds. Just okay in zone coverage. Has the speed and agility to keep up with short yardage routes but not the knack to recognize zone assignments quickly. Better at taking RB assignments or playing downhill in shallow coverage. Drag down technique on tackles. Not really a run game guy. More occupies blockers than doing anything special in the gap. Tall but thin, lacks true leverage power to be a hands down edge player. More likely a 3-4 OLB or 4-3 WILL. Only one year of production despite high recruitment status.
18
17Lukas Van NessDL/Edge/OLBIowa
Sub package versatile pass rusher. Could probably fit either side of the line, 3 or 5 tech, or stand up as a 3-4 OLB. Didn't start but amassed plenty of snaps between his two years in college. Attacks up high and aims to overpower OL to move them laterally. Big tackler that will throw his entire body into a wrap up. Compiled stats against crappy, unathletic o-line. Stonewalled by quick guys who can hand fight like Paris Johnson Jr.. Incredibly raw at the moment, needs to learn pass rush moves and how to dip into gaps better. Got really big really quick... somehow.
19
18Calijah KanceyEdge/DLPittsburgh
Pure pass rusher that was most often 1 or 3 tech but can also line up outside. Swim move and spin has shades of Dwight Freeney. Quick first step and burst has produced a lot of counting stats while also regularly disrupting pockets. Shorter but leverage and active arms gives him advantages against much larger guards. Looks to just stand up and fight OL in the run game. Doesn't have the strength or technique to disengage into the gap. Gets obliterated by double teams. Has a weird jump move while rushing longer OL that looks like wasted movement. Tiny, might have more of a build for the outside or in sub packages. Not unwilling to fight though, definitely gives it his all against stronger opponents and isn't completely washed out in the run game.
20
19Trenton SimpsonILB/OLBClemson
Played out of position this year at ILB, more of a free ranged OLB type in the 4-3. Fast as hell. Ran a 4.43 at the combine but probably faster than that in game. Gets some nice highlights when he triggers and gets through a gap quick but tentative otherwise. All flash no bite. Will get into a lane and fill it instantly but then miss the tackle regularly. Gets into the backfield like a missile but doesn't shoot enough on every blitz rep. Pretty decent coverage ability. Covers sideline to sideline with ease. Keeps up and reads TEs well and could probably even go up against WRs. Could be a three down WILL depending on if he can start fighting through blocks better or becoming a bigger presence in the wash of the run game.
21
20Jalen HyattWRTennessee
Three year player and one year starter. Pure open space guy. Great body control. One of the fastest players in game in the draft with great endurance. Can run deep routes and only runs deep routes all game. Strong sprinter stride off of the line. Teams seemed afraid of the offense and distinct lack of getting pressed on tape. Was enabled through scheme and running crossing routes with other fast WRs. Great after the catch, just races towards the endzone without anything fancy. Size and power in legs test smaller coverage safeties. So so hands. Has concentration issues and can lose the ball with contact. One year wonder in a ridiculous offense.
22
21Quentin JohnstonWRTCU
Big and fast once he gets up to speed. Not that great against off coverage, takes a bit to get going. Strong after the catch. Likes to stiff arm. Won't exactly punish DBs with his size but can outrun them and drag them a few yards on the tackle. Needs to get better at contested catches. Loses catches to hand fighting. Bad QB wasted a lot of down field potential, can usually beat DBs past 15 yards. Willing blocker. Can run short routes but gets pushed off drag routes by sitting LBs. Only really runs a couple of routes (drag, post, corner, go) but has good mastery over them.
23
22Peter SkoronskiOT/OGNorthwestern
Great bend, has a lot of sit and arm extension to his game to neutralize longer pass rushers. Knows how to hand fight and keep engagement. Plus pull and down blocking strength. Can move guys easily with momentum. Not very aware. Can get fooled easily by stunts and fast movement in space. Loses his sit technique at times and tries to block standing up which plays against short arm length. Could be an elite guard. Quick but not as quick as Slater, could face a lot of problems with speed rushes. Strong and good run blocker but loses against bull rushes sometimes inexplicably.
24
23Cam SmithCBSouth Carolina
Probably best zone cover guy in the draft. Great play recognition and closing speed. Targeted a lot and did generally well, amazing junior year and probably should have came out after that. Capable of press but usually does off coverage. Covered both sides of the field, maybe more of a #2 at the next level due to lack of run game skills and poor technique in man. Shies away from blockers or doesn't really try to engage when the runs coming near him. Grabs when he gets beat, usually on go routes. Lost games to lingering hip injury and concussion.
25
24Dalton KincaidTEUtah
Big receiver. Good initial burst and wide catch radius. Long strides off the line makes him excel at go routes and attacking seams even though he isn't very fast. Breaks are just okay but he compensates with little wasted movement. Good jump ball guy. Was asked to run block fairly often in heavy sets and in lead blocking roles. More of a spot filler than good at it. All upper body when blocking. Hugely productive in FCS and FBS level play. On the older side.
26
25Anton HarrisonOTOklahoma
Two year starter, rotated around freshman year, also stayed at LT for a left handed QB. Good technician. Hand placement and punch are well placed. Creates a good bubble with his length and extension. Natural movement in pass protection. Has a great kick slide and goes for the hug control with his hand placement. Can also block in space and get to the second level well. Loses to bull rushes if he sits back. Leaning OT in run blocking or aggressive pass protection. Can get easily shedded or blown by due to dipping his head. Kind of loses guys if he has to down block.
27
26Keeanu BentonDLWisconsin
Rotational guy for two seasons before starting all over the line for the Badgers his last two seasons. Big, classic defensive tackle. Gets his pads lateral and goes for rips and tosses to get into the backfield. Plays heavier than he is due to his pad level, just naturally presses through weak blocks to make plays. Strong arm strength. Not really a violent hand fighter, just stronger than his competitors. Shows in run defense and can easily pull down RBs with one arm while engaged. Initial punch move is alright, seems to be done more out of technique than capitalizing off the space it creates. Kind of slow off the snap, rocks into players more than exploding into them. Most of his sacks this year were coverage sacks and took a long time to get there. Part of a giant defensive line where the crashing playstyle suited his talents, probably won't see that scheme outside of goal line situations in the NFL. Has pretty decent versatility, probably safest as a nose tackle in the 4-3 but could realistically play as a 3-4 end or a 4-3 end on early downs.
28
27Sam LaPortaTEIowa
Four year player, heavily targeted and featured last two years. Played inline and in the Y, ran a variety of routes. More of a big WR than a TE but still capable of TE duties. Good hips, runs routes fluidly. Good after the catch, lowers his shoulder and fights hard against weaker tacklers. Kind of a gadget tool for the Hawkeyes, ran outside routes, screen plays, goes. Decent hands, kind of wrangles the ball rather than sntaching it but has good security after it gets in the bucket. Not the worst blocker in the world. Is active and plays hard. Just not reliable against a bigger rusher. Catches the ball more like a WR than a TE, doesn't body anyone and lets people get into his space.
29
28Jaxon Smith-NjigbaWROhio State
Shined with Olave and Wilson. Sat out most of his junior year with a hamstring injury. Used primarily out of the backfield and in the slot. Great burst after the catch, can take a screen pass for quick extra yards or punish DBs with motions. Elite change of direction. Top score in 3 cone drill at the combine. Needs to translate it into his game. Feels average at getting separation. Good hands and body control. Not afraid to take a hit over the middle and will look to drive through safety tackles. Could possibly play outside. Didn't do much before going down injured in his last year. Got bullied by Notre Dame despite size. Most tape is from 2021.
30
29Zay FlowersWRBoston College
Four year WR that lined up all over the field. Great athlete and player. Runs the full route tree, can take jet sweeps or screens, and deadly after the catch. Runs soft routes while trying to find the quickest open spot. Smart. Diagnoses coverages well and finds openings against otherwise well covered areas. Threat at all levels of the field with breakaway speed and great acceleration. Actively blocks and handles press coverage well for someone his size. Crafty with the ball in his hands. Has great open field vision and shiftiness to consistently rack up yards after catch. While he's tough he can easily be bumped off routes and doesn't have much fight against tight coverage. Not a sideline route guy. Needs to burn his target in order to be relevant deep. Could possibly still play outside at the pro level, probably more of a slot guy but not limited to underneath routes.
31
30Jamhyr GibbsRBAlabama
One year at Alabama after transfering from Georgia Tech. Pure speed with good one cut running. Used predominately out of shotgun and ace formations. Looks to gain the edge and cut with elite burst and top end speed. Decent balance and strength for his size, can and does spin away from tackles and out of grasps from bigger players. Danger in the passing game, has the natural fluidity of a slot receiver with good hands and decent route running. Can easily punish slower LBs and safeties in that matchup. No real pass blocking skills to speak of but wasn't really asked to be more than a body against blitzs. Has a bad knack for hopping or spinning the moment he's contacted. Doesn't exactly dance behind the line but has lots of wasted movement when there's no need for it. Not really an inside the tackles runner, tries to win with evasion over burst when going through the A or B gap. Goes down to direct contact and doesn't really fight for yards outside of spin moves.
32
31Tuli TuipolotuDL/Edge/OLBUSC
Three year player and two year starter for USC, played every position on the line and also OLB. Smart player all around. Commands gaps well, finds good pass rushing lanes, and can cover. Plays up high and looks to engage with arms before dipping and going. Obstinent pass rusher, keeps fighting throughout the snap. Great stick ability. Flings his whole body at a tackle. Can lose it when having to break down into more traditional tackling, lets guys get slip by a bit and tries to wrangle. So effective at pass rushing despite lack of clear moves outside of a spin. Will get muddled up in hand fighting and miss opportunities to disengage. Loses leverage battles. Most likely a 3-4 OLB, too small to play as he does in the Pac-12 but could probably still be an effective weakside 4-3 end or even WILL. Didn't participate in combine or pro day.
33
32Will Levis QBKentucky
Just in general shoddy to bad accuracy.
34
33Jordan AddisonWRUSC
Starred at Pitt with Kenny Pickett before going to Caleb Wiliams in USC. Slight frame and decently fast. Has the knack to find open spots on the field as his QB improvises. Elite short and intermediate route work. Great hands and body control. Average in the deep game, can get crowded out on 50/50 balls. Incredible game sense which was somewhat wasted by Caleb William's QB style. Could be elite in a WCO. Might be a slot only guy at the next level.
35
34Adetomiwa AdebaworeDL/EdgeNorthwestern
Moved all over the line. Highly athletic tweener with incredibly quick first step. Used predominately on the edge but seems to be better crossing over guards with his first step. Looks to keep space with active hands before a quick disengage. Works better inside than out unless you need him to set an edge. Good gap filler and decent tackler, all arms and power. More of a patient fighter at the line than a pure pass rusher. Gets fooled by misdirections. Dominated Senior Bowl and had a great combine. Kind of short and more obstinant at the point of attack than dominating. Does arm tackles sometimes that just get blown through. Built like a bowling ball, might be better suited as a pass rush specialist at under tackle but could realistically play the strong side if he gets better at tackling.
36
35Darnell WrightOTTennessee
Two years as RT in a Jeremy Pruitt offense and then two years as a LT and RT in a Josh Heupel offense. Improved in pass protection in a hurry but was too slow to stick at LT. Much better at pass protection when starting at RT in his senior year. Not impressively quick but big enough with a wide base to make up for it. Doesn't get moved by bull rushes. Not the fastest in help offense but has good reach and can at least be present. Great at drive blocking. Takes on too many assignments when doing it sometimes. Blanked Will Anderson Jr. until they schemed him to the left side. Slow at picking up stunts, probably would be wasted in zone blocking.
37
36Kelee RingoCB/SGeorgia
Lost his first year to a torn labrum then started the last two for Georgia. Strong, tall, and athletic, ideal size for an NFL corner. Usually man coverage and matched up against #1 SEC WRs. Sprinter speed with fluid body control, looks like he just glides around the field. Good hitter and can take down larger RBs. Lots of snaps but still seems raw. No knack for reading breaks, often seems spun around and recovering rather than sticking his assignment. Gives way too much cushion. Good for a penalty a game. Probably can't be a zone guy even though he'd be ideal in that scheme, just lacks the recognition right now.
38
37Daiyan HenleyEdge/ILB/OLBWashington State
Fifth year senior with a medical red shirt who is also a converted WR. Played all over the field after his transfer. Explosive, fast, and strong. Good coverage ability when he's allowed to sit back in the zone. Not that great at picking up routes but that seems like inexperience rather than lack of athleticism. Can blitz on or off the line but limited by technique. Lowers head and drives when going inside. Has the burst to get through unblocked but will get manhandled by guards. Edge work is limited to quick swims and dips. Pretty decent run defender. Doesn't always take the point of attack but will be in the vicinity every time. Old with a knee injury. Versatile but question marks of true position, most likely an ILB but could slide into a nickel base.
39
38Deonte BanksCBMaryland
Started most of his freshman year and all his senior year, lost half a season to covid year and one to a shoulder injury. Usually mirrored #1 WRs. Quick as hell. Closes gaps in an instant. Great corner blitzing potential because of it. Good in press or off coverage. Keeps up stride for stride if he gets into position and works WRs towards the sidelines. Pretty good tackler. Wraps up well and isn't afraid to hit. Sometimes over eager in that regard. Great at routes he's figured out but gets easily turned around by quick footwork and tends to break late on comebacks. Poor play recognition skills if he's in press, does better when he's in off coverage and able to react. Got a little bit better at breaking on the ball his senior year but is usually a step behind the catch point. Lets WRs get behind him on double moves.
40
39Cody MauchOT/OGNorth Dakota State
Converted TE that played at RG, TE, and both sides at OT. Bully tackle that looks to plant his assignment. Long body and good feet gives him excellent initial drive. Not the strongest upper body but has really good leg strength and churn in the run game to finish blockers to the ground. Excellent in pass protection due to his footwork. Quick off the snap with natural glide for pass protection. Can also get into space and the second level quickly. Blocks way too high, leaves himself susceptible to bullrushers into his chest. Doesn't have the bend technique of a traditional LT, looks more like a LG. Gets into space but misses blocks. Already 24 years old.
41
40Darnell WashingtonTEGeorgia
Exceptional blocker and underrated pass catcher. Not a sound technician in blocking but so big it doesn't matter. Long arms and solid core strength allows him to bully DEs and OLBs. Great in space blocking DBs as well. Not really utilized in the passing game but not terrible at it. Excellent high pointer and good catch radius. Decent short area quickness. No speed in game whatsoever but tested great. Not sure if blocking style will translate to NFL due to sloppy, awkward footwork and lack of true strong punch. Unknown quantity in the passing game as well since he was mostly untargeted and tasked with blocking. Could possibly work some intermediate routes into his game but doesn't have the feet to really sell them. Would probably best fit in the 12 personnel lineup.
42
41Dawand JonesOTOhio State
Four year player, LT sparingly first two years and then started RT last two. Obvious giant. Stronger than all his competition, moves everyone with ease. Decent feet, got a lot better his senior year at supplementing his upper body strength. Shortened his kick slide and goes to set edges with his length rather than trying to beat speed rushers. Patient, doesnt bite early or look to slaughter anyone with his strength. Looks to grab and direct over hand fighting. Sometimes loses it those hand fights too easily to more violent pass rushers. Way too tall for proper leverage. Wins his matchups in strength battles by leaning, leaves him suspectible to more agile strength rushers that can deploy spins and rips. Can just be out ran by speed rushers with his short set technique in pass protection.
43
42Nolan SmithEdge/OLBGeorgia
Went between stand up OLB and speed rushing Edge. Good anticipation on the snap count and combines a decent shed/swim move with his speed to win fast. Might actually be better with his hand in the ground although undersized for that position. Willing tackler in the run game despite size. Good at slipping through blocks to get into the gap but isn't really big enough to stonewall RBs. Kind of lost in coverage, limits ability to play in the 4-3. More of a 3-4 Edge. Lost his season to a pectoral rip. Kind of a workout warrior, needs to produce more with his athleticism level.
44
43Josh DownsWRNorth Carolina
Three year player, two year starter predominately in the slot and X role. Great footwork, decent route running. Used in full route tree but should probably be utilized more in short and intermediate routes. Great burst off the line, cheats it a bit to near false starts. Gets open quick. Great after the catch, knows how to work angles for extra yards and is just plain quicker than his competition. Good at shielding the ball for a smaller guy. Takes tough hits and hangs on, allows him to work middle routes. Good punt returner with good vision. Jumps when it's not needed in routine catches which feels like a waste considering his quick playstyle. Gets bumped off his routes easily. He has weight to him but he's still small. Probably slot only but still versatile.
45
44DJ Turner IICBMichigan
Started sophomore and junior year predominately mirroring #1's. Lockdown man corner with the speed and quickness to cover anyone. Sticks to receivers from a combination of athleticism and good anticipation on routes. Speed and hips make up for lack of fluidity off of initial backpedal. Willing tackler and pretty good at getting into bubble screens. Contesting balls at the point of attack can be a problem as he's just average size. Not really a press corner even though he looks okay doing it now, seems to be better at off coverage and breaking down on the route. Fastest player at the combine and generally scored well in all the drills he participated in and displays that athleticism on the field. While he is a good tackler for college he'll probably be just a guy in that regard against NFL athletes, kind of ends up flailing against quality WRs. Had a rough game against Ohio State where he was bodied more than a few times and gave up several contested catches. Kind of an aberration game though against a tough matchup, displays great coverage outside or in the slot overall.
46
45Steve AvilaC/OG/OTTCU
Four year player, two year starter with one year of rotation, played Center, Right Tackle, and Left Guard. Mountainous LG that doesn't get moved at all. Has a great anchor and functional strength. Tiny hands but doesn't matter, just gets his grips on linemen and doesn't lose. Leverage king this year. Tall and big but has great bend and explosion out of his stance. Decent help blocker. Looks for more assignments after he wins and can take multiple rushers at once. Slow as hell. Not a pull guy and barely makes it into the second level. Too slow to make a difference in blow bys or if the pocket collapses. Will just miss blitz pickups if they're not directly in front of him from lack of awareness, not always but when it happens its glaring. Might have to move from LG just due to his movement concerns, probably more of a Center.

46Isaiah FoskeyEdge/OLBNotre Dame
Four year Edge/OLB that started two years and rotated one. Doesn't have any pass rush moves and dominates pass rushing. Just sticks his arm out and goes. Pretty explosive and hard to handle off the initial rush. Has good bend around the edge and knifes straight to the QB when he gets the opening. Not really a run defender. Mixes it up if he's near the tackle but might need linebacker help behind him on early downs. Incredibly raw. Didn't know what to do against BYU or OSU when getting stonewalled. Gets near plays but doesn't really fight through to make a difference. Has fantastic footwork in drills but doesn't deploy it in game sometimes in the pass rush. Will just stick to his chosen path or plant himself. Probably weak side end, needs to be allowed to just work on pass rushing duties all game.

47Keion WhiteEdge/DL/OLBGeorgia Tech
Started freshman year for ODU, transfered to Georgia Tech, lost sophomore year to Covid Year, junior year to an ankle injury, then played both Edges and some stand up pass rushing from OLB senior year. Great get off with long first stride, good leverage, and fluid hips for a big man. Can change direction with ease which makes him a great gap filler and QB spy. Violent hands with good initial punch, fights and chucks after getting stood up. Fights hard through double teams with active feet. Good wrap up tackler. Kind of plays himself out of the run game, doesn't read the backfield well and ends up away from plays. Lowers his head and sticks his arm out when trying to take the outside edge rush, it works but turns into guess work when to cut up. Punch is great but way too high, looks like he should be moving OTs but it gives them time to reset. Doesn't use his agility to trick anyone outside of a spin move, picks an angle and goes. Already 24. Versatility is intriguing, could legitimately play 5 tech or stand up and be a 3-4 OLB.
49
48O'Cyrus TorrenceOGFlorida
Four year starter, transfered from Louisiana in his last year to Florida, experience at both LG and RG. Good technician, big and athletic. Has good instincts in pass protection for a right guard, patient and aware in help blocking. Great hand placement. Delivers well aimed initial punch and then locks down. Doesn't really get moved by bull rushes, just stout. Run blocking is strong and deliberate. Locks into his assignment and gets good drive. Kind of a turnstile. Stats say he's never given up a sack but he definitely has plenty of hurries under his belt. Loses rushers into gaps if they dip through his initial punch. Sometimes is too eager to get to the second level instead of clearing the gap in front of him. Bull rushes can surprise him if he sits back in his stance. Might be more suited for the left side of the line, although limited lateral movement will probably keep him on the right.
50
49Mazi SmithDLMichigan
Four year player, played for two years and only had a couple of snaps his first two years, rotated between NT and UT. Pocket disruptor and lane clogger. Fun get off, plays wild and has violent swim move to get into gaps. Great leverage, uses it well to move OL and get into lanes. Low stance and somewhat decent balance when making his move in pass rush. Good wrap up on RBs, strong arm tackles too. Just a pedestrian 3 tech right now. Needs to be matched up one on one to succeed as a NT. Not really a double team splitter but can occupy and try to make a play on runs. Seems like untapped athletic potential on the field, sometimes flashes great acceleration and strength and then can't chain it together on similar get offs. Polished football IQ for low amount of college snaps.
51
50Luke MusgraveTEOregon State
Four year player but only really had one season under his belt due to injury, riding the bench, and Covid Year. Tasked with traditional inline play and lining up in trips and the Y as a WR. Long stride with elite top end speed, can get to the second level with ease and create mismatches. Pretty good footwork for a tall guy but he does plant noticeably hard when making his breaks, relies more on his hips. Capable blocker due to size but no technique. Decent leverage and bullies smaller LBs and DBs in space blocking. Lack of production seems to be more of a usage and targeting problem than incapability to separate. Separation issues seem to be more technique to cut routes and use his body to shield for the catch than lack of agility. Could be faster on ins, doesn't have good lateral acceleration take off or after breaking. Goes down way too easy to contact for a guy of his size, seems to just fall over. QBs throwing to him sucked. Not that raw despite lack of snaps, more of a question mark from usage than play style.
52
51Derick HallEdge/OLBAuburn
Rotated first two years then started his last two predominately as an under OLB. Pretty smart player with good explosion. Takes off with good initial punch and rip to get himself into the backfield. Doesn't commit blindly to the pass rush and will keep his head on a swivel for play action or action to his side. Good driving bullrush that can get through bigger opponents. More of a react tackler than a coverage guy, only INT came off of a deflection. Has good constant effort and can make tough tackles in the wash. Very stiff. More of a work towards the center of the pocket or an edge collapser. Only a good anchor when he gets his arms engaged otherwise he can get pancaked pretty easily in drive blocking. Break down and rip technique might be better suited for inside linebacker play in the 3-4 than as an edge rusher.
53
52Jack CampbellEdge/ILB/OLBIowa
Four year player, starter for two years at Edge, ILB, and OLB. Played everywhere as soon as he was a starter but predominately at ILB. Comfortable up near the line or dropping back, has good patience and diagnoses plays decently. Makes sure he gets in on a play and delivers a hit. Okay pass rusher. More of a pocket collapser than someone who knifes through but quick and strong when he does find the gap. Classic coverage ability in the middle. Sits back and waits for crossing routes before trying to punish it. Good wrap up tackler if he squares up. Misses key tackles in the backfield. Gets there but can't seem to do more than flail at shoes. Can get easily moved by inside linemen during run plays, just gets shoved. Needs to do a better job avoiding blitz pickups instead of just taking them on. Coverage abilities are okay but kind of out of place in the modern day NFL, could possibly be a better WILL than MIKE.
54
53Bryan BreseeDL/EdgeClemson
Former #1 recruit in the country and freshman All-American that had his college career derail to an ACL injury, shoulder surgery, and kidney infection. Freshman tape features crushing pass rushing ability with ability to collapse pockets by himself. Redshirt sophomore year is more gap stuffing nose tackle play. Kind of thankless role that didn't produce much stats or opportunities. Still quite powerful with great upper body strength and tough interior line play. Good gap watcher. Can shift himself or move guys into running lanes with relative consistency. Plays with tenacity in the opening seconds but lays off when his pass rush doesn't get there. Leans too high in gap protection sometimes and produces no leverage. Undeniably cursed.
55
54Blake FreelandOTBYU
Rotated at RT two years before starting at LT for his last two. Great movement and agility for a big man. Bends well at the waist and has decent lateral movement while doing it. Good hand fighter, fights well with violent pass rushers and keeps them at range. Pretty good in space and on pulling, lacks some technique when doing it but is quick enough to be a presence. Simply too tall to really get good leverage, ends up blocking up high after he engages and torques with whatever shoulder is engaged in order to keep his assignment rooted. Got burned hard at the senior bowl practices but is more of an in game player against speed rushers and cross facers than in drills. Not overly strong, loses to rips and bull rushes sometimes. Probably at best as a zone blocking LT, could possibly move to RT as well.
56
55Hendon HookerQBTennessee
Two year starter for the Hokies before transfering to Tennessee and starting two more years. Decisive QB with a good arm and excellent form. Great footwork, bounces around with ease in the pocket. Pretty accurate in the short and intermediate game. Has reliable mechanics with good decision making to deliver quick strikes. Decent threat out of the backfield. Ran some designed QB rushes and was always a threat to take off into open space. Ran a deadly air raid without exactly having the best arm for it. Has a tendency to release the ball too high and sail it, especially with pressure in his face. Takes some really brutal sacks with lack of pocket awareness. 25 years old and coming off an ACL tear. In a gimmick offense that always had a safety valve underneath.
57
56
Felix Anudike-Uzomah
EdgeKansas State
Two year starter predominately at right end with some rotation around the defensive line. Great leverage guy with long arms and compact playstyle. Gets skinny with decent power to get through gaps quick. Engages well into the chest plate and keeps himself out of OT's grasp. Obstinent rusher that doesn't give up easily even if the play seems out of his area, will work leverage and pry through double teams. Natural balance that allows him to change direction or work his pass rush moves. Has a variety including spins, rips, and dips, deploys them well. Tries in the run game, only average at it. Not overly strong, wins on drive and hustle more than power. Unbelievably slow off the line despite production in the backfield. Seems to sit there for a full second before moving sometimes. Kind of an average athlete, pursuit in the backfield doesn't look pretty but is effective.
58
57Yasir AbdullahEdge/OLBLouisville
Five year Edge/OLB that started two years. Played in a defense that had him in the Under or Over LB spot. Fast with good pop when pass rushing. Keeps his arms up from the snap and uses them to stick out of range to avoid engaging too much. Willing to engage and occupy OL when pass rush fails. Decent run defender. Playstyle allows him to remain active and closing speed gets him to plays he shouldn't be near. Good hand fighter and it also shows in drag down tackles. Doesn't really have pass rush moves. Tries to shoot the gap more than anything else. Not really a threat rushing inside. One year wonder in the coverage game and was previously terrible at it. More of a pick an angle and go guy, doesn't have the fluidity to track more agile players. Underrated size, plenty strong and has a decent wing span. Could possibly play Edge in the 4-3 but most likely a 3-4 OLB, although pass rushing technique could be limited when facing longer LTs.
59
58Will McDonald IVEdge/OLBIowa State
Fifth year senior with two years of starting experience and one year of heavy rotation. Outstanding pass rusher. Has a knack for slipping through gaps or splitting double teams. Good top end speed and can easily chase down busted pockets. Decent use of hands, knows where to place them and when to fight. Not that good at run defense and shouldn't be wasted in it. Gets blanked when spin move doesn't work or when he's not strong enough to rip the OT. Kind of disappears on short yardage situations. Initial first step could be better. Not lack of athleticism but poor timing on the snap count. Probably more of a 3-4 OLB at the next level, a little slight for an Edge. Old (24).
60
59Gervon Dexter Sr.DLFlorida
Rotated freshman year and then started sophomore and junior year swapping between nose, under tackle, and strong side edge. Versatility shows, is able to slide through gaps or bull rush, can man edges or gaps at an elite level. Strong and fights hard. Can fight his way through one on one matchups and be a nuisance in the backfield every snap. Gets directed away from plays easily, isn't that smart at recognizing the play action or roll outs. No get off. Ponderous off the snap and doesn't really anticipate it either. Pass rush moves right now are bull rush or fight through gap. Slow get off also makes him lose strength battles he otherwise should win in the run game. Could play either spot in the 4-3 or a 3-4 end. Has to get better at get off or will be useless as a nose tackle.
61
60Antonio JohnsonSTexas A&M
Rotated freshman year and then started two years predominately at strong safety but also has some slot play. Classic box safety. Tall and strong, delivers pretty powerful hits but can also wrap up well. Good at the line. Times snaps well and can cause havoc in the back field when asked to blitz. Decent against oline too when he gets picked up, won't ever move anyone but can occupy blockers like a linebacker. Off coverage type and not that fast when he has to take on go routes from the slot. More of a shallow coverage guy. Just average closing speed, more of a hitter than a ballhawk when trying to disrupt catches. Gets bowled over by RBs even though he makes the tackle, needs to probably be a bigger hitter instead of a wrap up guy when he gets into the gap. Probably more suited for strong safety than a slot corner, doesn't really have the instincts for complex coverage.
62
61B.J. OjulariEdge/OLBLSU
Rotated freshman year, started his sophomore and junior year at weakside OLB and edge. Pass rushing specialist with good get off and variety of pass rushing moves. Long strider around the edge, shifts from it well to cross up OTs. Active hands, not really violent but more deliberate. Gets long and is good at shedding during stand up fights despite not being that strong. Asked to do some zone coverage and is okay at it. More of a shallow zone guy who reacts down into the flat. Not really that great against the run. Just average size makes it tough to fight inside and would probably be wasted there anyway. Pauses before tackling, breaks down slow and takes a second longer to wrap up. Pass rushing technique is a bit boom or bust when taking on right tackles, sacks from the strong side seem to be more off of coverage than getting around the edge. Probably more of a rotational pass rusher and a 3-4 OLB than a 4-3 guy.
63
62Cedric TillmanWRTennessee
Used sparingly and redshirted then started his fourth and fifth years. Played at the Z receiver and worked the shallow sideline routes in a spread offense. Strong with pretty good short area quickness. Gets off the line with decent stride and can turn his hips well into digs and curls. Great blocker for a WR. Good high pointer. Has good body control and can use his size well to have a great catch radius. Played the safety valve option in the Heupel offense predominately and produced well from it even if it was just running three routes. Not a deep route guy, takes too long to get down field and doesn't really create separation through speed. Doesn't sell his route if the QB is looking away from him. Played injured his last year, lost his evasiveness and just gets tackled immediately despite his size.
64
63Zach CharbonnetRBUCLA
Split carries at Michigan, lost his job then transfered to UCLA where he started for two years. Excelled as a big shotgun RB in Chip Kelly's system. Is big and plays big. Has decent speed and power combination to get into the gap and fall forward. Good balance and footwork. Can set and move his feet well for a big back in order to make his cuts. Good pass blocker. Takes on assignments well and can stonewall linebackers. Asked to safety valve out of the backfield and decent at it. Not the greatest hands but can reel in short passes and punish DBs afterward. Kind of slow off the snap. Takes a bit to get going even though he's moving his feet, just more of a short stepper when running. Falls forward but doesn't really break tackles, more of a punishing back than elusive. Outplayed on third down by Keegan Jones, just an average threat out of the backfield despite pass blocking prowess.
65
64Tyler ScottWRCincinatti
Two year starter on the outside at the X and Z role. Fast wide receiver that can run a variety of routes besides just goes. Really quick feet, can get to the second level fast, dig well in his comeback routes, and simply outrace DBs. Good at fighting for contested catches despite his size. Shields well for the ball and has a surprisingly high vertical. Great after the catch. Shifty and decisive, sees the field well and doesn't waste much movement getting into the open field. Not strong enough to fight for the ball when the DB attacks at the point of the catch. Body catcher, doesn't snag the ball unless it's a comeback route. Can be pressed pretty easily. Kind of raw, just runs his route and doesn't really find the seams in the coverage to be a downfield threat like other fast players. Had an okay QB that just didn't seem to target him in the short game even when being open.
66
65Matthew BergeronOG/OTSyracuse
Rotated freshman year at RT, started at LT for the next three years. Compact and strong with good initial pop. Quick in the pull game and in space, has decent feet and good hips. Squat with good leverage. Much better run blocker than a pass blocker, creates good space and clea outs with strong feet and drive. Leans a bit and likes to hug block to compensate. Excels when he can direct his assignment into the wash. Has a really odd back pedal in pass protection where he sort of hops backwards in a wide stance, looks much more like a guard or a center than a tackle. Can get crossed up and bull rushed easily in pass protection, just doesn't have it there. Aptitude seems to be more from size than technique.
67
66Emil Ekiyor Jr.OGAlabama
Fifth year senior that started the last three years predominately at right guard. Strong with good leverage and punch. Has quick hips to help him flip assignments and seal off gaps. Good drive blocker, not that fast but still has his guy moving backwards away from the play. Solid technique, gets squat and shoves with good hand placement. Zero lateral movement or backpedal, looks and plays like a RG that should only be moving forward in a phone booth. Not really a pass protection guy, has issues picking up speed or quick DTs. Also gives away pass protection duties by lining up deeper in the line to compensate for lack of back pedal. Strong for college but not dominate, probably won't road grade as much in the NFL.
68
67Kobie TurnerDLWake Forest
Rotated for two years at Richmond before transferring to Wake Forest and starting for two years mostly inside but moved around the line. Incredibly explosive athlete for the position, has footwork and fluidity of an elite edge rusher at a stouter size. Plays quick and twitchy. Looks to shed quick and slip into the backfield. Keeps his distance from blockers with good leverage and hand placement before shedding and looking for the play. Kind of a stout, lower center of gravity build which makes him hard to move even though he isn't as heavy as his competition. Smart player. Diagnoses running schemes well and can get through tough pull blocks or down blocks. Kind of small, isn't going to flatten OL or make a very big presence in the run wash. Rotated out on early downs sometimes or left on the bench for whole drives, not sure if it's conditioning or just coaches preference. Versatility seems to be more of personnel issue at Wake Forest than being able to actually play those positions, more of a three tech than anything else.
69
68Eli RicksCBAlabama
Three year player, lost a season to a torn labrum and then transfered from LSU to Alabama where he rotated. Bully corner that aims to harass routes and can rotate between press coverage or sideline redirect. Good at contesting the point of the catch. Reacts well to underneath routes if he's in man coverage, can feast on comebacks and slants. Zone coverage is iffy. Seemed to make business decisions on tackles. Did well when he had help over the top and was allowed to take risks on the route. Kind of slow. Has good short area burst but can get outran. Grabs and shoves, could be a flag machine. Probably will be limited to slot and stack coverage duties .
70
69Clark Phillips IIICB/FSUtah
Three year contributer and two year starter. Best ballhawk in the draft. Has great sudden burst and knack for cutting off throws. Predominately off coverage though can play close to the line and is a willing tackler in the flats. Great instincts on routes. Doesn't fall for fakes and commits to his instincts well when the routes are underneath his coverage. Tries to tackle and has good form but is limited by size. Constantly near a play but doesn't always participate, seems more energetic than anything. 'Tested badly' but displays fine athleticism on the field and isn't that far behind his peers. Question marks on position at the next level. Playstyle allows too much cushion to be a slot corner, might be more of a rangy FS or Tampa 2 CB in charge of X receivers. Will probably drop due to size and lack of true top end athleticism but could be a perfectly fine starter, hard to pinpoint.
71
70Jacquelin RoyDLLSU
One year starter and rotated between NT and UT. All around game in pass rushing and run defense. Looks to cross face and force OL into horizontal situations to disrupt pockets. Good power and get off. Finishes plays, keeps fighting throughout the play and works towards the ball regardless if he's in position or not. Just average strength with stood up. Won't really collapse any pockets through leverage battles. Good tackler but can't always get into the running lane, especially when double teamed. Seems raw, doesn't really have technique yet. Plays high and lets himself get bumped. Hand placement is too wide, loses power because of it. Seems to not be able to break through weak blocking even when it feels like he should.
72
71Emmanuel ForbesCBMississippi State
Started all three years predominately on the outside over the X receiver. One of the better ball hawks in the draft. Breaks on the point of attack quickly and looks to win on speed. Plays off ball because he's fast enough to limit underneath routes and also because his press coverage isn't that great. Has long arms and is tall but too thin to really bully anyone. Way better at playing deep routes. Doesn't get outran, just has true game speed. Good vertical and fights for the ball on deep routes. Great hips, plays well at the top of the route and recovers well if the break tricks him. Tackles but doesn't look comfortable doing it. More just wraps up and hopes other people gets there than being able to take down a WR, even smaller ones. Had a relatively easy job and wasn't asked to do much. Kind of a one year wonder in coverage, Sophomore tape has him getting picked on a bit.
73
72Julius BrentsCB/SKansas State
First three years of nominal play at Iowa before transfering to Kansas State and starting for two years mainly as the X CB. Press coverage guy, very big player and likes to bully. Good side shuffle coverage, more of an underneath guy who can blank out slants and come backs. Tackles well for a CB. Has good wrap up and pop. Can rotate closer to the line if he's left alone on his side and turn into a hot blitzer. Easily beat ups slower WRs that try to go for high point catching or body shielding, just stronger than his competition and more obstitant in contested catch situations. Zero pass coverage ability. Had a great fifth year senior season somehow, tape doesn't really support it against good teams. Just loses guys in deep zone coverage, has no ability to track the ball or know where the QB is going. Awful deep ball location, doesn't get his head around and falls a step behind faster WRs. Flag machine. Had an awful game against TCU in the Big 12 Championship but got bailed out through a blown coverage forced fumble and a bad fade throw by Duggan. Pretty slow for a CB, might need to move to Safety, could probably do it with tackling ability and coverage style but not exactly a guy who gets through or around blocks.
74
73Garrett WilliamsCBSyracuse
Three year starter, lost his last year to an ACL injury. Off coverage outside CB that's capable in zone or man coverage. Good footwork, has a nice backpedal and break on the ball. Plays bigger than he is, has good bump coverage and sideline redirect. Pretty good high pointer and fighter when contesting. Decent in run support with good tackling technique and willingness to attack. Has limited top end speed and ends up playing behind WRs on deep routes. Doesn't anticipate routes that well, just average in coverage. Probably more of a X corner, possibly slot.
75
74Siaki IkaDLBaylor
LSU transfer and two year starter in a heavy rotational system at Baylor. Saw a lot of early down work and sometimes used as an under tackle in pass rushing sets. Crashing style of play where he looks to use his size to force guards sideways while working into a gap. Doesn't really bull rush through anyone unless he gets a good step into his leverage. His initial step is great and he can get into gaps quickly but he doesn't deploy it often. Can get downfield quickly when he gets the OL going sideways. Rotated out a lot. Kind of just gets stood up sometimes and doesn't do much, not sure if it's gap assignment duty or he just gives up. Other times he has good pursuit throughout but it's inconsistent. Good footwork keeps him in business. Seems raw at the moment and just a guy.
76
75Zach KuntzTEOld Dominion
Graduate transfer and 5 year player while also losing his last season to an injury. Great get off to get to the second level quick. Just plain taller and stronger than his competition. Not overly muscular but big enough to knock away DBs. Decent high point. Tests better jumping than in game. One of the best combine performances ever for a TE. Maybe ran a 4.3 40 at 6'7 but clock was wonky. Just okay to not that good at blocking. Leans forward and shoves, no real technique. Bad feet in and out of breaks, chops way too much and loses time gained through initial long strides. Needs to shield better for contested passes, lets guys get inside too easily. Old and might just be a big Y or X at the next level.
