Department Requirements:

1. Year-long core curriculum for a strong foundation in neurobiology (4 classes).

2. Teaching Assistantship: Minimum 75% (one quarter at 50% and second quarter at 25% or three quarters at 25% each). One of the 25% required in N113L. Students on fellowship/training grants can only TA 25% a quarter. (MSTP students are exempt from this requirement)

3. Four advanced courses offered by the Department (or approved by the grad advisor), including at least 1 in statistics (usually NB257).

4. Participation in NeuroBlitz departmental seminars, honing communication skills in science.

5. Attendance at the departmental colloquium series (NB290) throughout the year.
