11 | This tool allows you to check the theoretical DPS output of any combination of gear and melds. | |||||||||||||||
12 | At the bottom of the screen (top on mobile) click "Set Builder" tab and use the provided equipment and materia selection options to build a gear set. The tool will automatically calculate your stat totals and give you the theoretical DPS output. If you have an Ariyala link you want to compare (or just want to quickly check your in-game stats) then use the "Manual Override" option to set the stat totals to whatever you want. This will force the set builder to ignore gear and use only the stat totals you set it to. Similarly, you can instantly import the stat totals of an Etro set by selecting "Etro Import" and pasting in your Etro set link. Notes about simulation methods: GCD tiers, for RDM, MNK, BLM and NIN, as it effects raid/self buff alignment with specific GCDs is not accurate and so may produce positive DPS changes where nuanced alignment or rotational differences in reality might result in lower DPS . In addition, these models DPS is "averaged" and where changing your GCD tier may change your DPS output in the planner it will not have the same effect in reality unless a GCD is gained or lost in the encounter or phase. Please keep in mind optimal GCD tiers as described by job experts when evaluating sets. Level sync, for RPR and BLM, does not adjust rotation to one that is optimal at level 80/70/etc for and is therefore not 100% accurate. Level sync DPS is fine for set compararison purposes but does not reflect the actual DPS you should be doing in these fights. | |||||||||||||||
