BAG TAG GUIDELINES
3
* Everyone who joins the BNDisc Golf club is given a bag tag with a number on it.
* The tags are meant to provide additional fun and competition to our league matches.
* The lowest number is 1, the highest number depends on the number of members.
* The top 10 tags are a “special” color (Yellow print on black basket for 2018). All other tags are a different color.
* At league matches, all tags are collected, and re-distributed after the round based on scores.
* The person who shot the best, gets the best/lowest tag number; etc…
* If someone has to leave early, they will be assigned the lowest tag and can get it at that league's next event
* People take pride in trying to earn the lower tags. The top 10 tags are most prestigious.
* Players can also compete for tags in casual rounds by “challenging” a player with a lower tag.
* We encourage you to have fun competing for lower tag numbers at league & casual rounds.
4
IMPORTANT NOTE: In the spirit of good sportsmanship, we request that the top tags stay in circulation for the entire year. If you earn one of the top tags, but know you are not going to be able to play in a BNDisc League round for a few weeks, please do not take the low tag number home with you. Instead, take pride in the fact that you earned it, but then exchange it with the league director for a higher number to take home during your absence. Keeping the lower tags in circulation helps maintain the fun for those people who take pride in trying to earn better/lower tag numbers.
