Paricipation requirements:

You have to be Tier 8 or higher on the Prismata ladder

You have to join the Prismata League discord and sign up there (post in sign-up channel)

By participating, you commit to scheduling your matches via discord and playing up to 12 matches in 2 months

By participating, you also agree to read the rules thoroughly (including additional sheets) and abide by them.

Currently, the general rules are on this page, plus Promotion/Demotion. Additional rules created during later seasons are on their specific pages and apply going forward (that season inclusive).

General league rules:

Every season lasts approximately 2 months

Base+9, 60sec, p1/p2 is random every game. If both players agree they may play their games in 45s instead, no other adjustments allowed.

If new units are added during the season they must be banned in all remaining games of the season.

If a game is played with wrong settings (i.e. wrong time settings, or a new unit showed up), that game, but only that game, is to be played over.

Round robin - You play against everyone in your league

Head to Head results will be used as tiebreaker if players are tied for an important rank at the end of a season.

If a player cannot make a match on scheduled time, he is expected to communicate this timely. Failing to do so, results in a game loss, after which the players can reschedule the remainder of games

If a player fails to play more than 3 of his matches they get disqualified from the league

If a player disconnects during a game the other player has to pause the game and wait for at least 3 minutes. You may finish your own turn first before pausing. If the disconnected player doesn´t reappear they lose that game, other remaining games have to be rescheduled.

If you can´t participate in an upcoming season (longer vacation...) you can message the administrator beforehand and pause for 1 season without moving down. You will be awarded 40% of maximum points in that league. (can be done once per year, not possible in Rookie league)

If you don´t want to participate in upcoming seasons anymore message the administrator, you´ll be removed from the league

League 1 (Prismatic League):

You play one series of 5 games against every player

Every game win is awarded with 10 points for the leaderboard (draw = 5 for both players)

At the end of the season Top 3 go into playoffs: #2 vs. #3 in a Bo7, winner plays #1 in a Bo9 (will be streamed)

League 2 (Meteoric league):

You play one series of 3 games against every player

Every game win is awarded with 10 points for the leaderboard (draw = 5 for both players)

League 3 (Cosmic league):

You play one series of 3 games against every player

Every game win is awarded with 5 points for the leaderboard (draw = 2 for both players)

League 4 (Rookie league):

You play one series of 3 games against every player

Every game win is awarded with 2 points for the leaderboard (draw = 1 for both players)

The Leaderboard:

By playing in the league you earn points for the leaderboard

You can also earn points by playing in certain tournaments. Tournaments are eligible to award points if they are 1) open to everyone in Masters Tier and 2) offer equal chances to all players

Point distribution for upcoming tournaments will be announced on discord

The leaderboard can be used for seeding of other major tournaments, those will not award points

The leaderboard sums up results of the past year (last 6 league seasons), older results get deleted

Every year there will be a big Masters tournament, where the top players of the leaderboard get invited

There will be badges for reaching 100/250/500/1000/1500/2000 points on the leaderboard. Those will be awarded after every season.
