Purpose and BelongingHighly recommendIt’s a great place to connect with othersI see no improvement necessary JoeContinue supporting us with positive and constructive feedback Nothing in my eyes

The groups of 4. The amount of people made the talks really Interactive and interesting. Highly recommendIt can organize the way you approach life. Maybe change up the groups more. I had some really interesting conversations with some people but only got to talk to them once. LolaI think she did great. She was very inclusive and open. She made us feel welcome. Something but I’m not sure whatMaybe try to do the class in classroom for organization if possible.

Being able to interact with others and be vulnerableHighly recommendPrepare to really think and be engagedHaving more interaction between all the groups would be nice and more engaging in some timesJoeBon was really engaging and a great listener, and our office hours were a really positive part of my experienceNothing really explicit, but just as I said earlier giving us more opportunities to connect with the other groups. That's really the only thing I can think of, he was great!I really really loved this course!

topics: gravity problems, frustration, vulnerability
in general: I loved the critical buddies and life design teams
Highly recommendBe open minded and don't be afraid to share your opinionmaybe make sure that there is a chance for both crews to interact moreLolaI loved how she made sure to include everyone!!! and we did warm up activities before station the discussionsI can't think of anything! Lola was such an amazing teacher, I am super grateful!thank you for sharing your knowledge about life! it has been an amazing experience and keep it up <3

Hearing from different people all over the world. It really opened the door to more experiences and I learned so much that I didn’t even imagine. Highly recommendITS AMAZING DUDE. You should totally do it, not only will you end up knowing more but with great friendships Time management aspects LolaBeing so open and actively engaging with each and everyone of us. Thank you lola Longer zoom meetings hehehe It’s a great course, in the beginning we spent less time with the crews and group, but in the end it was great

The interactions with Life Design teams and critical buddy for me were so helpful and I was able to develop a stronger sense of belonging and purpose from it.Highly recommendIt is a life changing course. Be aware that not always you will feel comfortable but thats how you grow.giving more time for us to discuss in life design groups and critical buddiesJoevery well prepared, nice and always has interesting questions.giving us more time to discuss as a whole cohorti absolutely loved the experience! thank you for everything <3

The discussions were absolutely amazing and they definitely helped me figure out a large part of myself that I had been worried about for so long. My four-person group especially gave me a sense of belonging, and I love the connected atmosphere of the whole class. Highly recommendI would say please, please, please take it. It will help you re-examine parts of your lifestyle and completely change your life. Perhaps giving it a little bit more structure would be great. While each individual class was great, they didn't really have a timeline to them that connected them all, other than realizing what was imperfect in our lives. A little bit more understanding of what the course is at the very beginning would be great too, but it's definitely okay as it is. LolaLola was amazing at connecting with us. Despite how I didn't end up talking too much with her, she was always understanding, empathetic, and kind. Honestly can't think of anything off the top of my head. She was amazing. I would love for her to teach me at my actual school, and am so honored that she taught me throughout this whole month. Please continue making this course available for everyone. It is truly life changing.

Honestly everything, but if I had to choose it would be everything from the book "Power of Meaning" as the perspective change was very vital to understand everything in this course.Highly recommendThis course helps you in ways you cannot imagine. I never expected to learn so much about life and how to live mine in only a four-week course.More mingling with people not in your Life-Design Team. We only did it like twice but it was cool.LolaShe was incredibly available outside of class and so open. She was more like another classmate than a teacher.More scheduled one-on-one times because sometimes it's tricky for students to take initiative on things. This was a wonderful experience and one of the best choices I've made

The life design teams/critical buddies and the one on one sessions with the teachers Highly recommendTake it! It's worth your time and you learn a lot about yourselfI think it would have been nice to know everyone in the full cohort a little better. This would have made me feel more comfortable in group discussions and be more open to the full cohort. Maybe a speed dating like activity could help with this?JoeDuring the discussions Bon was a really good listener and he added on and made a lot of connections that really really helped (in both the one on one sessions and the full group sessions). Maybe he could brush up on his zoom skills so that the meeting doesn't end aha. But it was a funny experience. Maybe it could help to have a clock or countdown so that when we are in breakout rooms we know how much time we have (like 5 minutes left) and then the one minute timer so we don't get cut off?

i really enjoyed the smaller life design groups and the rotation of presenters, i really liked having someone i felt very comfortable with leading the discussion and i think that just having a discussion with my peers was really insightful and gave the biggest opportunity to just develop ideas off of others and see what similarities we had and what different in you opinions and why. Highly recommendi would say if you are going to go you cant go with a fixed mindset on your life and you have to be willing to be yourself in-front of people who you will get very close you very quickly. your going to have and think a lot, about who you are, what you believe, and why. i really think it will give you a new better outlook on your purpose in this world and if you are living a meaningful life, but you cant go in there thinking you have everything figured out. i think having the course be more involved with all the students and not having just the smaller crew of 10 would be very interesting because i really did like some of the students in the other section of my cohort but i dint feel like i could talk to them about the topics we went over. Lolathey were really good and maintaining connection between each of the student and keeping everyone involved in the conversation, they always brought their own inside without making it feel like that was the correct answer to the prompt. basically nothing, but maybe just making sure they're seen as an authoritarian figure, not saying that she wasn't, i just know sometimes students get out of hand.

I really liked the life-design discussions. I think that is where I was able to open up the most and hear different perspectives that gave me a more holistic understanding of various concepts and topics.Highly recommendI would say 1) be prepared to be open and vulnerable 2) be open to change the way you think 3) there is always to ways of telling every storyI would have really liked to get to know more personally people from outside of my life-design group.LolaI really liked how Lola created a very safe environment for our crew and incentivized all of us to be open and share out thoughts. She also let us talk, discuss, and debate on different standpoints for a specific topic which was very enriching.Overall I think the dynamic was great. One thing that could have worked better because of our online classes would be to switch up the teams every once in a while instead of always being with our critical buddies because we had constant contact with them anyways and that limited us from getting to know other people in our crew more personally.Thank you for this amazing experience!
13
I really enjoyed how the whole cohort was split into different groups such as the life design teams, Lola's crew, and critical buddies. I think that this allowed us to feel more connected to each other and have a more personal expirience. Highly recommendBe prepared to change your outlook on life! There is so much more to life than being happy... in the IA you'll find out why. I think that everything ran smoothly, but I would have enjoyed more interaction with Bon's crew.LolaLola was such an amazing teacher. I not only considered her a guide, but a friend as well. I think that she did a great job at making us feel important and like our opinions mattered.I think that Bon and Lola were amazing! I don't have anything in my mind that they're not doing already.
14
Being able to discuss with the life design teams on the things we connected when reading the books and seeing how we had similar thoughts. It was also nice giving each other feedback.Highly recommendThis course truly helped me improve my myself and my mindset and I'm so beyond happy that I was part of this course.I think one thing you could do is when giving feedback on videos to do it with life design teams rather than just the critical buddy in order to get more feedback.JoeContinue trying to get everyone to talk. I know it was hard since we were really shy but Bon did a great job at doing his best to involve everyone in discussions.I think maybe just giving us more time in the groups to talk because many times we felt like we needed more time to finish discussions.
15
When we were simply having conversations about the topic and relating them to real life. Also the readings and discussions about things made me see things in a new wayHighly recommendIf you want to meet people from different places in the world and learn about the art of philosophy while having fun, take it.Try to introduce more people to each individual, like the day we did our quick write with random people I really enjoyed it because you can get a bit out of your comfort zone every time.SaraI like that she would go into the conversations and check on us while adding to the conversationHonestly nothing, I think she did a good job.The course besides teaching me about philosophy also was preparing me for a more tech future in which you will meet a lot of people through zoom and not in person. To be honest I understand why it has to be this way but also think it will be much funner if we were in person.

1) Challanges
2)The books
3)Life design teams
Highly recommendThey should totally take it. It's a amazing experience. You will learn a lot of stuff that will help you and as well you will meet amazing people. Maybe focus on 2 books instead of 3 SaraMaking sure everybody is okay or if somebody needs helpnothing!I had an amazing experience. Would totally take it again!

The readings and introduction to concepts such as dysfunctional beliefsHighly recommendFor someone in their senior year, or just before leaving high school I think this course is ideal, as that is the most condfusing time I think I rlly recommend this course, or to anyone feeling stuck in life. Really enjoyed it but I think there were some people in class I think thought would be interesting to talk with and discuss, so maybe having a chance to talk with everyone. Getting new perspectives. Though I really enjoyed my life design team and the getting to know them over the weeksSaraListened very well to what we said and made it very clear we could go to her for help. Also very niceCan’t really think of anything, maybe at times the class convo went a bit stale (rarely though and mostly the students fault)Thank you for the opportunity, really enjoyed it. If you ever make a second part to the course or an alternate one I would love to be invited as well.
18
The discussions and the challengesHighly recommendCome into the course with an open mind. Don't think of just expressing your beliefs, but be prepared to listen also. Interacting more with the other people outside of your Life Design Team. CoreyHe was really vulnerable with us and related to the things that we were talking about. Even though we didn't make sense sometimes, he completely understood what we were saying. Corey made the classes fun and taught in a way that made class not boring. I'm not sure if this was decided beforehand, but Corey seemed to be the one who talked the most out of the teachers. While it was really nice getting to know Corey, I think I didn't get to know the other teachers as much. So maybe he can let the other people talk too. It was truly life changing, and I hope I never forget this feeling that I can do anything and am prepared for whatever future comes.

I think the discussions and interactions with other students were the most engaging for me. Highly recommendDo it!! It’s such important material to know, and such a fun and engaging class. I really can’t think of anything, I just wish it didn’t have to end so soonCoreyHe explained everything really well, and you could tell that he’s super passionate about teaching and the material. He also encourages discussions a lot, which I liked. I’m honestly not sure- I really loved his style of teaching, and nothing comes to mind for improvements, sorry. I really loved this course, and I’m so glad to have been given this opportunity. Thanks to all the teachers for making it happen!

I learned that life doesn't have one path but multiple paths available and, that life gives you that opportunity, to explore the different parts of you that you want to showcase. I think that is what impacted me the most: I always pictured my life going one way and wasn't allowed to make mistakes on any part of my path there. But, I learned that setbacks and suffering comes along in life and that we are given the opportunity to act upon it (there's not just one way). ACCEPTANCE IS KEY. Highly recommendI would tell them that what you learn in the course is something that they should never forget, it's something that you should live by when living a meaningful and happy life. Also, this course creates an environment where everyone is engaging and vulnerable, you're going to make a lot of new friends that you haven't even met in person.I thought the course was great! My only comment is that I wish we could collaborate with more people other than our buddies and critical life teams (having the time to meet people in our cohort or class in depth). But overall, no improvements are needed.CoreyCorey was engaging and so passionate on what he taught, I think those attributes were what made our group so engaged. He would also check on us from time to time through email and pay attention to our concerns, goals, and comments. He opened a door into the field of medicine for me by organizing a meeting with a pediatrician, I was more determined to follow that path after hearing another person's experience in that area. He gave various students the opportunity to do this, even though it wasn't part of the course.Nothing really.I can't describe how much I enjoyed it. Thank you for everything!
21
The discussions in our life design teamsHighly recommendGo for it, it is totally worth it, you would be missing out if you didn’t.I think that we should interact with other students a bit more.SaraShe is really engaging and makes the course fun by telling us more in depth about something than what is written on the slides. Can’t think of any
22
Our time with our Life Design Teams. it was a safe space to have deep conversations and also gave us an opportunity to talk closely to people from all over the world.Highly recommendYou need to take this course because it will completely change you mindset and boggle your mind. You'll gain so much from this experience and it'll always be useful to you.More time with our Life Design Teams!!! Maybe even change it up every once in a while and switch the groups for a day.SaraShe was able to create a safe space in our small group of 10. I always felt it was safe to talk about anything and was always encouraged to ask questions.I can't think of anything, I truly enjoyed every minute.I appreciate everything that our teachers did for us during this course. I'm truly sad that it is over, and I hope I'll be able to participate in something similar down the line.
23
When we reunite with our life designed teams Highly recommendThat obviously your life is not going to be very meaningful After finishing the course, but I am sure that now you will have the skills to live a better life. It will motivate you to keep going with your dreams, without trying to make them perfect. And I’m sure that your relationship with yourself and others will start to change for better. More time🙈CoreyCorey make us feel as if he was one of us, so that make me feel as if I could open more without feeling like I am talking to a teacher. Idk, he did it very well during the course. I love it!!
24
Definitely the group discussions as well as discussions with our Life Design Teams. I got to share, develop, and re-think my opinion and thoughts about the world as well as hear lots of other extremely interesting testimonies. Highly recommendTake it!! This class covers so many interesting topics and sheds light to worries about the future I didn’t even know I had. You get to connect with people from all over the world and it’s a really eye opening experience. I’m not sure,? CoreyThe reminder emails were extremely helpful! I always felt that I could reach out to my teacher for feedback, questions or just a conversation. Teachers were very understanding and insightful. They did a great job of keeping the class entertaining and interesting, I’d tell them to just keep doing what they’re doing and continue listening to the students I loved it!!
25
I really like discussing the books and everything that we read. I feel like this was very effective because it allowed us to gain an insight on other perspectives and what other people thought about their own life or the book itself. Highly recommendTake it 100% it will change your way of thinking and open you up to so many new ideas and cool people. I really liked everything in general but having more time with the group of four to discuss would be a lot betterCoreyHe was very open and vulnerable which was really good because it created the same kind of behavior from our part, he set an example to follow. I would not say that there’s anything big that he has to improve upon. Everything was really good.I absolutely loved it.
26
The intimate conversations and freedom to discuss whatever.Highly recommendTaking the course is a chance to step back, and take a genuine look at what living means. Everyone in the course will be in the same journey to have a better understanding of how we should treat people, ourselves and society. The conversations you'll have can help you strip away social expectations, to see the root of what you enjoy about living; take a look at your values and whether or not you're doing the best you can with life.We need more personal conversations. I think that after we discuss the concepts in class, we need to go off on our own thinking journeys to find out what these concepts mean to us. But it's also very easy to just not take those lessons to heart. Like after we sign off, some may just never give it a second thought.CoreyAsking follow-up questions. Corey, in our breakout calls when you'd wanna ask some guiding questions or add on to the conversation I always thought that you were gonna criticize us or tell us that we're running out of time. I love that you got personally involved in our conversations.Share more of your own personal thoughts and feelings! You usually ask something like: does anyone want to share? If you start the convo something like: I don't know, I'm a __ person. I believe that _____. Does anyone else agree/disagree? Giving personal anecdotes and narrowing down questions like this stirs up thoughts and opinions. You told me this once, about how questions that are too general aren't very effective. I feel like when you share your own experience, it sounds a bit formal and serious. People are likely to perceive that as like a lecture-type thing where they nod their heads and absorb information. I suggest to just have fun with it and keep it short and thought-provoking.

Another thing is that people are more likely to get stirred up and contribute to the discussion when they hear more personal stuff. It also doesn't hurt to have some conflict/debate going on.
I loved the video projects. But I think the options could be more creative and challenging, or like worded to get people to be think more creatively.

All in all, it's been a great experience. I may sound a bit critical here but that's cuz with this kind of project, soo much can be done!

The group and team discussions were certainly the most impactful in my opinion and I got the most out of those conversations because I was able to gain insight on several different perspectives on each of the topics that we discussed. Highly recommendI would say that it is a course that contains topics which will help them in their lives and they will never regret taking a course like this one because of the people you get to meet and because of the learning experience which is very different to normal experiences in school. One thing I would recommend would be with some activities or presentations about a certain topic that we were discussing, sometimes the presentations were a bit long and thus it could cause some people to get distracted, so just making sure to make presentations interactive, and in many cases they were interactive, however there were some cases where I felt the presentations were a bit long. JoeBon's attitude, openness, and willingness to put in all his effort in his classes were just outstanding things that he did which I believe he should continue doing. Maybe he did not realize it, but his positive and vibrant attitude every day made classes much more engaging and you wanted to participate when the class felt so energized and interactive. Being in Bon's group was great, and I really can't think of a big area where he could improve on. Maybe relating the improvements I talked about before for the course, he should just make sure to make the length of his presentations not so long so that people do not get distracted. Otherwise, I think he did an awesome job in all areas and it was really cool to get the chance to have him as my teacher. He gave great feedback, encouraged us to share our thoughts, and was always making sure that we were feeling well and having great conversations. It was a great course and I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to take it, it was very different from anything else I have experienced.

Getting to form that bond with my group. Being able to relate to people that I had never met in person before (specially in a time like this) made me understand the power of vulnerability. I am so grateful that this course offered me that. Highly recommendThere may be moments when you get tired of having to spend your summer working on this. Reading all of the chapters and having 3 hour long classes; but in the end, it is all worth it. The experience that you preserve as being part of this class is worth all of that struggle and time and effort that you put into the Imperfect Art of Living. Find a way to make the classes shorter. I know it may be a challenge, but it is probably the only "complaint" that I have regarding this class. SaraAlways checking in and always reminding you that they were there to lend you their support and help you figure things out. I seriously don't know haha :/ (been thinking about this question for about six minutes now and can't seem to come up with an answer)Loved the bonds that were formed during the course and can't wait to meet again in October!

The group discussion, being able to learn and understand other's perspectives on the readings and different subject we talked about was a truly amazing experience.Highly recommendGo for it! There is so much you will learn from it it and no cons. Just go for it, take the journey, and start to question!I don't know to be honest. I thought that the classes were amazing and the book chosen were truly impactful. The meetings were a little long, but it was all part of the experience as it was necessary. SaraShe communicated with us, enriched us with her ideas and own point of view on our discussions. She encouraged us to speak up and say what we thought. She was awsome!Try to not spill water on your keyboard next time ;)I loved it and I'm super grateful to have been given the opportunity to take it. Thank you!

Using what we learned and turning it into a visual representation through video projects, as well as the discussion-led learning.Highly recommendI would say that it is an absolutely wonderful experience to pursue a class as amazing and well-put together with awesome teachers and highly-engaged students!More opportunities to talk with other students in the class besides our Critical Buddies and Life Design Teams :)LolaShe was so caring and energized during all of the classes and she kept us all so entertained with her wonderful personality! I say that she shouldn’t change anything she does because what she is doing now is perfect! As I might have mentioned before, Lola was the perfect example of a truly engaged and caring teacher. And if I’m being honest, I don’t think there’s much more she can do because she’s already such an amazing person to talk to and laugh with!It was the highlight of my year!! I love love loved getting to discuss and share and laugh with everyone in the class and I just found it so remarkably entertaining and interesting! It was an absolutely fun class and would recommend 1000/10 for anyone and everyone! I loved everyone in my class, teachers and students!!
31
The discussions in the Life Design Team were one of the most engaging experiences in the course. Highly recommendI know that being vulnerable is uncomfortable and even intimidating, but the people in this course are so genuine and honest that the environment they create together will make you feel incredibly safe and comfortable to open up.I would suggest the teachers to allocate more time for random groups to have discussions.CoreyBeing open and honest, being so detailed and timely with his feedbackDancing skills and his jokes (jokes aside, I can't think of a specific area of improvement because he is already one of the coolest teachers I know).
32
I really enjoyed the discussions and the connections we made of the topics of the book to our lives. I also found the video projects very engaging and interesting.Highly recommendYou learn a lot about yourself, about connecting with others, and about life in general. You also get to meet some great people and have just an all around good time.As of right now I can’t think of anything you could do to improve the course.CoreyHe really connected with all of us and was great about getting us to talk about vulnerable topics at times as well as goofing off at other times.I don’t really know, I think he did great.I really enjoyed it, it was an amazing experience and definitely hope you continue doing this for a long time!
33
I really loved the discussions we had as a class, Life Design Team, and Critical Buddies. It was really interesting to listen to new and different perspectives, and to share ideas and common struggles. I also really liked the book the Power of Meaning, and watching the documentary as a Netflix party. Highly recommendI would honestly say that it has been life changing. I learned a lot about myself and I became a part of a unique and whole hearted community that taught me a lot about meaning and belonging. I did not get to meet all of the people in my cohort, and I think that having more whole group discussions could be great once in a while. CoreyI really loved how Corey created a very welcoming and non-judgmental community. He always added to the conversations that we had on our own and made us think about different things. He was very attentive and he made me feel heard and I learned a lot. You can tell how much he enjoyed and learned from the class himself and that made the experience even better. I don't have any feedback for this, keep being awesome! I will remember everything I learned and hopefully I will never forget how to apply these tools in my life. Thank you.
34
Meeting new people and getting to know their thoughts and goals for their lives. Also, having a critical buddy helped because they were your best friends during this amazing experience and they were the person you got to know he best. Highly recommendThis is a one in a lifetime unique experience that you could not get to experience anywhere else. Getting in depth into a strangers life for a month gives you a set of new perspectives that will help you long term. Take the course!I would say no recommendations, other than to include less the book Consolations of Philosophy because the history context can get a little too overwhelming!CoreyAlways having great activities and videos! (and jokes). Also, giving us feedback was great too!Having us interact (more because we did) in small groups for more time with people that were not our group of 4 or critical buddy. No! I loved it.
35
When we discussed in our critical buddies/life design teams.Highly recommendThat it is an opportunity they don't want to missNothing? It's greatLolaEverything! She made me feel comfortable talking about myselfI can't think of anythingLoved it so much!!!
