Digital Literacy Skills Checklist with Northstar Standards
Google Doc Checklist		The purpose of this document is to highlight the foundational digital literacy skills that are applied and leveraged in the classroom through the implementation of activities, lessons, and assessments.

This document references 2 sections of the Scope and Sequence resource. Each column represents a module from the Essential Computer Skills Area in the Northstar Digital Literacy program. The name of the module, as well as the access to the scope and sequence, are listed below:
- Basic Computer Skills
- Internet Basics
- Using Email

Instructions on how to use to ensure successful onboarding or training of tech applications used at your agency:

1. Select a program (i.e. Burlington English, Northstar, or other tech based application.) that your learner, class, or department will use in your classroom or at your agency.

2. Identify what digital literacy skills are required for your students to engage in the digital resource you are providing your students using the checklist below.

3. Reflection:
- How can you make digital resources accessible to students with low digital literacy skills?
- In what ways can you facilitate the use of digital technology and resources in the classroom?
- How can you adapt digital resources to engage students with additional digital literacy skills listed below?
