1. Do NOT: remove/add/modify tabs OR columns/column headers within tabs.

2. Header Comments: some column headers have notes with additional guidance and/or references to LookUp lists. These are indicated by flags in cell corners. Hover over the cell to view each note or change the settings in the Review tab to show all notes. The link to SWAMP LookUp lists is included below.

3. Values not on LookUp: If a value is not already included in a SWAMP LookUp list, please contact your SWAMP IQ Regional Liaison or OIMA-Helpdesk@waterboards.ca.gov prior to submitting results data through the Online Data Checker to better facilitate the data verification/loading process. The link to find your liaison is included below.

4. Required Tabs: Not all tabs are required to be filled out. Required tabs: Sample, Locations, at least one Results tab (FieldResults, BenthicResults, HabitatResults, ChemResults). Optional tabs: SampleHistory, PersonnelDuty. Required fields on a tab are only required if you have data to report on that tab. Do not fill out the following tabs: FundingCode, LabBatch.

5. Results Tabs: Data populated in BenthicResults and ChemResults should only contain the Collection data, the laboratory results should be reported in the correct results template (Taxonomy Results template or Chemistry Results template). Do not fill out fields with gray text on BenthicResults or ChemResults.
