CREW 128 PLANNING FOR GOLD - 202__

3
Some BSA Journey to Excellence requirements for crews that seem to apply year-to-year. Based on typical JTE standards, your year should include:
4
5
ServiceAt least two service projects, including one with our charter organization.
6
7
TrainingOne JTE element requires that officers have Crew Officers Orientation. Further, advancements require certain training, like Youth Safety Awareness so everybody can earn the Venturing Award.
8
9
AdventureAt least four fun events like backpacking, biking, canoeing, etc. that are significant enough to be considered a “Tier II” adventure. The more we have over four, the more points we receive.
10
11
RecruitingWe need at least one recruiting event, like our FUN Night in 2021.
12
13
JTE also requires that crews have an approved budget and a youth leader ("Program Chair") for each event.
14
15
The table below (or printed on the next page) provides a way to list each event to ensure that we meet the minimum requirements for winning JTE Gold in the coming year. The emphasized numbers in the "count" column reflect the minimum number of events required for JTE.
