9/22/239:00am - 4:30pmIntroduction to Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral TherapyInference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an empirically supported treatment for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. This model conceptualizes OCD in a different manner than other appraisal-based models, indicating that obsessions are not random intrusive thoughts; rather they are created through a faulty reasoning process. I-CBT assists clients in decreasing inferential confusion and tackling the OCD where it starts; when the doubt is formed. This workshop will provide an introduction to I-CBT, the research behind this treatment, and the core components behind providing this treatment.
