WATER CHANGE CALCULATOR
Created by Tony Griffitts
13
This chart is used to figure out how often and how much water you should change in your aquariums.
14
DIRECTIONS:
15
Enter your data in the first three yellow colored fields then press tab. The other fields will automatically calculate and fill in. Green numbers indicate that the nitrate content is less than 100 ppm in the calculated fields. Orange numbers (WARNING) indicate that the nitrate is rising (but less than 100 ppm) with the numbers you entered and the schedule needs to be adjusted, if not the nitrate levels will eventually reach the danger zone. Red numbers indicates that nitrate is in the danger zone above 100 ppm and the schedule you entered needs to be adjusted. A good schedule will have all green numbers in the calculated fields.
