8 | Teacher Instructions | Reading the article: Give the students online the oppotuinty to read the text aloud for everyone on the google meet. We will disucss key vocabulary and important information from the text that will be required when answering the questions. This is something that I try and work through in our first meet at 9am so that everyone has seen and had access to the text. | Response to text: At our 11am meet we go through the response to text questions. Some of these questions are multiple choice where the studnets will need to select the correct answer. Some of the questions require the students to answer these in their own words. I read the question to the class and ask studnets to raise their virtual hand, I will then pick one of the students to answer the question then ask the others if they agree. We have discussions from here about the correct answers and key things they need explained in more detial. | |||||||||||||
