Since the initial roll out for Equity Plans in school year 2018-19, TEA worked with representatives from ESCs to update and revise the reporting template for Texas school districts. Per federal guidelines (ESEA 1112(b)(2)), equity plans are required for all districts who receive Title I funds. This template should support a district's broader continuous improvement process to ensure that districts, and schools, identify gaps and take action to address differences in outcomes specifically for students who identify as African American, Hispanic, and/or low-income.

Guidance for Using the Equity Plan Template
