2	1	No USB 3 in modern OSes	There is not onboard USB3, I added VIA USB3 controller, but i there is only small place for power molex,	i need custom molex adapter / or other UBS controller with header - there are not too much of them.., details are in Anandtech thread: https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/short-molex-connector-or-90-degree-molex-connector-cable.2559330/ Rayer will try to replace (relocate) connector to make it possible.. I tried some USB3 header to USB2 header convertor, but its not working, i dunno what is wrong, if such convertor could work at all.. its cheap Ebay thing. On Ebay are USB3 controllers with better controller position, if this one will fail, i can order, new one, only downside is wait month or more for delivery.. Soldered by Rayer and now its working.. Everywhere except Win XP + PAE - 64bit RAM patch.	Solved..
3	2	Not USB2 on front panel	I dont have original case USB2 header cable, i tried cable from other case, but its not working.. So wiring is not good or whole header is dead..	Check wiring, or change USB2 ports.. or buy whole new panel (18 Euro + shipping) FIxed by Rayer...	Solved..
4	7	No working CD ROM in Win98	So far is not CD/DVD rom device present in Win98 device list. I suspect used controller drivers, its on Intel controller in IDE mode.. Im using rLoew driver, maybe i dont need too.	Try standard Win98 IDE drivers, i need to discover which drivers are default one.. i dont really remember exact controller name..	Solved
5	8	Slow GPU for WinXP and newer	I just need to buy quicker GPU for this machine. So far im using Geforce 220, i have some Gefore 730 - but i would need som cards rearrangement to make place for it.. and would be still place holder.	Its only about money i would buy some MSI Geforce 970 or something like that. G960 is slow, G980 is too noisy at least with air cooling.. Im trying to buy Geforce 750 TI + Geforce 1070 for other machine too have spare Geforce 970 for retro machine. I now have Geforce 960 - but it needs some slots device replacement..	TBD, i have to check slots situation..
6	3	Only Sata2 storage speed, more OSes can run faster with SATA3 / NVME	On board Sata controller are Sata2, or only i can add some PCI-E controller, but it would consume precious slot, but i dont have spare one.. Other problem would be drivers for Win98 and controller for make it working with all OSes, i would need mutiple SSDs.. Other solution would be some PCI-E to M.2 adapter - for more modern OSes, benefit is that is faster than Sata and i have lots of PCI-E lines with Xeon CPU.	Somehow free slow PCI-E slot and maybe buy additional SSD (i not sure if Win9x rLoews driver will work with Sata3 storage). Other solution would be M.2 PCI-E controller and M.2 NVME SSD for new OS only i thing that is Win7+ only..	Hard, no free slots..
7	4	Slow HDD	I just need to buy some 240+ GB SSD and clone disc.	Buy need disk, its only about money. Ordered, arrived. but i need to upgrade SDD in one, machine and use old for retro machine.. and some MacOS stuff is involved.	Solved..
8	5	No network in DOS	Some testing and research needed.. So far thing, that integrated realtek has not native package driver and Broadcom 5721 will not work (at least not working with other MB), with previous HP MB, its worked with integrated Broadcom NIC 5764.	I need to test if Realtek DOS driver will work, i not i would 1 free slots for DOS compatible NIC, or find some DOS to WIn7 compatible adapter.. There is not packet driver to integrated NIC, maybe SHIMs will work..	Medium
9	6	No network in Win98	Im using onboard realtek gigabit NIC, there is probably not Win98 driver for it, i could use Broadcom PCI-E NIC, but it has problem that broke Win98 shutdown, at least with other machines.I have tried some drivers for intergrated 8111D - there are some drivers, but i have boot freeze with VFAT bluescreen.	I would have to live with not working shutdown, or need someone who will mode driver to make shutdown working or get some Win98 compatible USB Network adapter - when i last time checked, there where only available in USA. with reasonable prices. Rayer made other Realtek working with DOS NDIS driver i will try it it. I got Assix88772A which has Windows 98 driver, but i discovered that even Realtek PCI is now not working with my machines, something wrong with my Windows 98 installation..	Medium+
10	9	Not enough free slots.	Its because of VideoCards heasink are consume more than 1 slot, i need to use 1 slot watercooler blocks or get some special heasinks - above / behind cards.. There is also stupid MB cooler design, which is blocking usage of Long PCI-e card, in open PCI-E 4x slots.. It sucks a lot.	I need to google for special heatsink, if exist.. or made them, or move to water loop. 11	10	no Fan above cards slots..	I just need some 8 cm Noctua 4 pin fan and some Y cables for fan headers.	Buy fan.. Y cable is ready. Ordered. Because design is stupid i need only fan with 15mm height are compatible, 25 mm can be add only at the end of mount and its not ideal.. One Sanyo 15mm fan is on the Way, there are SIlenX 15mm fan too and some from Akasa, i will test some of them and if noise would be on ok level..	Solved, by Akasa Fan + Y fan cables..
12	11	PSU missing Sata /molex cables..	I just bough used PSU - Enermax Inifinity 650W, with half of missing cables..	Im still searching for someone with spare cables, i wrote vendor.. or have to find some compatible cables, found someone who can make them, or replace PSU for Fanless - what is longterm target - but its expensive. I would have to probably buy new PSU and it would be expensive, because my target is fanless, i would need 500W/ 600W like Silverstone Nightjar, i already have one its fine.	Medium, but research is annoying.. It seems, but it would be expensive, or hard, because someone would have to do cable by hand..
13	12	Not enough free slots in case..	I have almost best as possible Coolermaster case with 9 cards slots, but its still not enough, at the bottom, im using 2 slots gpu, so only 1 is free.. and there is for example some nice PCI-E to PCI pericom adapter, which is too slot.	Only solutions is some further case mode, to place some cards, deeper in case or in some external box outside of case.. and it would pain with cables, but its possible.	Very hard..
14	13	Video capturing..	Now i have PCI-E capture card, but it consumes slots and i will probably need it for something more important.. I have Dapatch PCI capture card too, but it eat slot too..	I can use USB capturing device, but there are usually for HDMI and modern stuff, so i would need 2 of them, or some convertor box from S-Video/Cinch /VGA to HDMI. Im not sure if exist some good USB Capture card with XP support?	Medium..
15	14	Better sound compatibility..	Its lofty idea, but in long term - mighty Tiido, who made own nice ISA Yamaha new sound card, would be probably able to modify MB with LPT and serial ports.. to support SB-Link which is near to ISA sound card compatibility. He can modify even MB, without working dos PCI audio.. All described in Cause column, rest is just ask Tiido from time to time..	Only Tiido can make it, Very hard
16	15	Not working 1 DMA controller in Win98	I have one device exclamation mark in Device manager, DMA controller. I have second device, with same name, using same DMA 04 and some different address ranges and its working fine.	I have to discover if really need such device working and what for it is.. I removed both controller, only one was redetected.	Solved
17	16	USB3 is not working with XP PAE (4 GB+) patch	VIA USB 3 Its working fine in 32 bit boot, in 64bit is device dead i tried lots of drivers.	I thing there were some USB patches for PAE patch, im not sure if i installed them, there are maybe new version.. It need some investigation. Dibya is saying that i need some file from Win2003 server.. Renesas USB 3 is working with PAE patch, so i replaced it and got one with front USB3 connector and 4 back ports (more than on VIA).	Solved
