Academic Quiz TeamBrian MeeronMondays & Wednesdays, 2:30-~3:30. Competitions on Wednesdays (Dec-Feb). Occassional Saturday tournaments.Room 1309 (Mr Meeron's room)We dominate our athletic conference, our region of the state, and the nation! Quiz Team is an academic "Quiz Bowl"-style competition where other schools bow down to our prowess, and we destroy them all with knowledge and humble civility. We are the most successful program in Walnut Athletics, and don't even break a sweat. All grades welcome!

Backpacking ClubAllie Mondini/Katie SullivanTrips are held on pre-determined weekends throughout the school year. The club culminates the year with a week long Appalachain Trail backpacking trip to kick off summer.Pre-trip meetings held in Ms. Mondini's room: 2704.This club is currently already filled to capacity and is available to returning members only. Bio-Eco ClubAllie MondiniWeekly after school meetings Tuesdays: 2:30-3:30; Once-a-month Saturday morning volunteer days: 9:00-12:00Weekly meetings in Ms. Mondini's room: 2704 & Saturday mornings at Walnut Woods (on Sulsar)The bio-eco club is commited to environmental conservation and practices a "think global, act local" philosphy. Major projects include transforming the woods area adjacent to Walnut into a multi-use nature preserve, public park, and land lab.

Gleam is Walnut Hills' oldest club. We are dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment for people interested in creative writing and the arts. We hold weekly creative writing meetings and produce the school's literary magazine under the same name: Gleam.
