To begin, select the weight class of the mech you're looking up below. What is "Ordnance Score"? A rough attempt to quantify the maximum damage output of a mech in alpha burst potential. This is not a definitive value, being instead math-ed using scores for each particular hardpoint size and type (values shown on the Ordnance Score 2.0 tab at the bottom-right).

Notes on some stuff:
6
- Bolded values do not necessarily mean better values. They just indicate there is some difference in the bolded stats from the 'typical' or otherwise most-common variant(s)
7
8
Honestly speaking, ignore the OS. It is really specific to certain builds and ignores so many factors that it isn't really a reliable way to choose a mech.
9
- Max Armor is always the same for a specific mech (technically for a specific tonnage). So every value is assumed to be "dropped down" until the next chassis listing. This is mainly to keep things clean where possible.

/gerg/ OP(s), you really should remove this spreadsheet from your pasta, i gave up on it long ago

- Whenever I put something like "(# armor ticks gets X)", I am referring to very-close tipover points. For example, 2 ticks = tonnage is 0.06 T from the next half ton value, or two ticks of armor value needs to be subtracted to reach that value. In my personal case, I tend to sacrifice those small amount of points to get the extra usable tonnage. Assume if that note ISN'T there, the armor tonnage is somewhere in or past the middle point.

Example: Maxing out the armor on an example mech will cause it to be a value of, say, 80.06 tons / 100 tons maximum. Since components bottom out at weighing 0.5T at the lowest end, this means the mech is EFFECTIVELY at 80.5/100T, and you have lost a whole half ton of fitting (That is, at most you will be at 99.56 tons used if you completely fill it out after maxing armor). If the mech is not equipped with Ferro Fibrous, subtracting TWO ticks of armor (0.03T/tick) from any location will bring it to 80/100T, gaining back that extra half ton to fit stuff.

- Also, as a note, with r/Audacious124's formatting (he's way better at this spreadsheet thing than me), the "# armor ticks" thing can't be repeated beyond the first row. Just assume that if one variant has this note, and other variants have the same stated tonnage for max armor, they probably have the same 'wraparound' value.
20
21
- Speeds and tonnages are rounded to the nearest whole number using normal rounding rules (i.e. 1.5 becomes 2, 1.4 becomes 1)
