I’m not a big Nub fan and this cigar is a bit reminiscent of that style vitola but with a little extra length and a torpedo cap I sort of dig this thick little guy! The wrapper is suede brown and has a fairly smooth feel with some veins and wrapper edges showing but in a handsome way. This is a bit of a toothy cigar with an iron taste reminiscent of red meat. The leather has become more pronounced as the pepper has receded but still remains available in the mix. There is only a hint of cocoa now and the cigar has gone from being spicy, peppery, and mixed with a little sweet to a more earthy and leathery combo.Very GoodMedium-StrongMedium-FullSo just as I thought the sweetness was gone it re-emerged. Sweet cocoa is now mixed with the leather and iron for an interesting mix of flavors. The sweetness doesn’t stay consistent long but it was enough to wake my taste buds back up after enjoying the meaty and earthy leather of the second third. It is popping in and out of the draws going into the end. Very GoodThe draw was fairly good all the way through and produced ample plumes of white smoke. I didn’t hit any tight or loose spots but the cigar did burn just a little hot toward the end. No relights were needed and I didn’t have to work at smoking the cigar.GoodThis was a little hot for me coming down the home stretch, so I put the cigar down a lot in between puffs to let it cool. The ash held really well and had to be tapped. It’s a nice mix of white and dark gray with an almost black center. It felt pretty sturdy and compact as the rest of this cigar felt from the start. The burn was fairly even and the wrapper didn’t crack or lift. The cap held well especially for a torpedo cap with a deep V cut. The burn ends of the wrapper were dark and toasty in appearance. Very GoodThis thick and robust cigar did not disappoint with construction. The wrapper held nicely throughout the smoking experience. No issues except the hot burn toward the end. Even with a nice deep v cut into the torpedo cap it kept its integrity throughout. I would need a holder to truly nub this cigar because of the heat but otherwise it is solid and well constructed.GoodI liked the overall mix of flavors although I really could have used more sweetness hanging around in the second and last thirds. This is a predominantly leather an mineral taste cigar with the beginning offering a nice splash of pepper and spice and the cocoa and chocolate notes bouncing in and out. I think the vitola is perfect and if it was any longer I would have had enough. Tasty and interesting to say the least.60

The cap has a small wrinkle in it and the foot isnt quite even. Very GoodLots of baking spice notes fill the aroma of this stick. GoodMediumLight-MediumNot nearly as bold a flavor profile is presented as was expected. There are some wood notes and maybe a little bit of leather in the background, but both flavors are pretty faint. GoodMediumMediumFlavors start to ramp up a little bit in the second third and are a little easier to make out than they were in the first few inches. Wood notes are certainly more defined. GoodMediumMediumNo real changes are detected from about the mid point of the smoke until the end. Everything pretty much remains the same. Very GoodA very good draw is provided with good resistance that is consistent from beginning to end. GoodThe ash produced by this stick is very dark, but the burn is straight the entire smoke and the ash hangs on very tightly, never accidentally dropping no matter how long I allow it to stay on or how indiscriminately I handle the stick. GoodOther than the small issue with the cap and the uneven foot detected with the smoke pre-light, there were no apparent construction issues. GoodOverall not a bad cigar, but for me at least it lacked any "wow" factor that would make me want to make it part of my regular rotation. 77
