4 | 7/15/2018 11:04:49 | Mickey T. | irratebass) | 772 | 92.5 | "This "little" cigar, and I use that word loosely, because this cigar is a beast. It has an interesting perfecto type rounded hea. The wrapper is a bit toothy with some seams, but I am not seeing any veins. " -Mickey T. (irratebass) | 87.5 | "On the body I pick up sweet coffee with some wood, On the foot I get mostly sweet tobacco, like a molasses or syrupy aroma. " -Mickey T. (irratebass) | 90 | Mild-Medium | Light | "The cold draw is salty with some bread and rum flavors. This is a really elegant cigar so far. It's very smooth with quite a bit of sweet tobacco flavors mixed with some coffee. I had to re-cut it again, was getting some resistance on the draw, and was afraid of tar build up. Much better draw now. " -Mickey T. (irratebass) | 90 | Mild-Medium | Light | "Had to do another re-cut, not really an issue, just reporting. the cigar is still staying in the mild to medium strength. Still lots of sweet coffee and wood that's about it. No spice or harshness. I have had to re touch it up a few times, but that's expected with this vitola. " -Mickey T. (irratebass) | 90 | Medium | Light-Medium | "Spice has shown up and making the cigar more of medium in strength. On the retro I get that sweet coffee, but there is some cream and spice now that tickles the nasal passage. I take it back, spice has really picked up now. My lips are tingling. " -Mickey T. (irratebass) | 85 | "Draw was ok. It had quite a bit of resistance and I had to cut it a couple more times. This may have been my fault. I straight cut it, and probably should have v-cut it, but when reviewing I like to use a straight cut to give the cigar the full smoking experience. " -Mickey T. (irratebass) | 87.5 | "The burn was good, but there were some re-lights that were needed due to the size. " -Mickey T. (irratebass) | 90 | "Very good construction, despite it's size it performed beautifully, however at the final third it became quite mushy, and had to put it down with about an inch to go. " -Mickey T. (irratebass) | 90 | "This is the type of cigar that you need to take your time with. Say you've had a bad or long day at work, and you need something to chill out, this is the cigar for that. It starts out really mild with lots of sweet coffee and wood flavors. It continues to stay that way until the final third when you least expect it, and that's where the spice comes in and really wakes you up with strength. This will be a good cigar to pair with coffee or your favorite cocktail." -Mickey T. (irratebass) | 120 | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME?
5 | 8/4/2018 18:09:43 | Diana | ArmyRN) | 772 | 92.5 | "What a solid little stick this is! I’m not a big Nub fan and this cigar is a bit reminiscent of that style vitola but with a little extra length and a torpedo cap I sort of dig this thick little guy! The wrapper is suede brown and has a fairly smooth feel with some veins and wrapper edges showing but in a handsome way. If it was any shorter I wouldn’t like the feel in my hand but this is good looking and i’m ready to get smoking!" -Diana (ArmyRN) | 87.5 | "I thought I got a whiff of ammonia when I first cut into the cap but if it was there it quickly dissipated. There is hay and a little chocolate hint mixed in with a barnyard scent on the dry draw. The wrapper is pleasant and gives off a hay and tobacco scent." -Diana (ArmyRN) | 92.5 | Medium-Strong | Medium | "A fairly good amount of pepper greets me when I take the first draws on this cigar. It’s not unpleasant but I had a moment of worrying that pepper was all I was going to get. However, just a quarter of an inch in there are notes of coffee, cocoa and leather peeking through and the pepper has settled right down. It is more prominent on the retro but there is a spiciness mixed in that is both powerful and tasty at the same time. As i near the first third a nice sweetness is starting to come through. It reminds me of a dark chocolate brownie!" -Diana (ArmyRN) | 90 | Medium-Strong | Medium | "There is a mineral taste that has crept in as I went into the second third. This is a bit of a toothy cigar with an iron taste reminiscent of red meat. The leather has become more pronounced as the pepper has receded but still remains available in the mix. There is only a hint of cocoa now and the cigar has gone from being spicy, peppery, and mixed with a little sweet to a more earthy and leathery combo." -Diana (ArmyRN) | 90 | Medium-Strong | Medium-Full | "So just as I thought the sweetness was gone it re-emerged. Sweet cocoa is now mixed with the leather and iron for an interesting mix of flavors. The sweetness doesn’t stay consistent long but it was enough to wake my taste buds back up after enjoying the meaty and earthy leather of the second third. It is popping in and out of the draws going into the end. " -Diana (ArmyRN) | 90 | "The draw was fairly good all the way through and produced ample plumes of white smoke. I didn’t hit any tight or loose spots but the cigar did burn just a little hot toward the end. No relights were needed and I didn’t have to work at smoking the cigar." -Diana (ArmyRN) | 87.5 | "This was a little hot for me coming down the home stretch, so I put the cigar down a lot in between puffs to let it cool. The ash held really well and had to be tapped. It’s a nice mix of white and dark gray with an almost black center. It felt pretty sturdy and compact as the rest of this cigar felt from the start. The burn was fairly even and the wrapper didn’t crack or lift. The cap held well especially for a torpedo cap with a deep V cut. The burn ends of the wrapper were dark and toasty in appearance. " -Diana (ArmyRN) | 90 | "This thick and robust cigar did not disappoint with construction. The wrapper held nicely throughout the smoking experience. No issues except the hot burn toward the end. Even with a nice deep v cut into the torpedo cap it kept its integrity throughout. I would need a holder to truly nub this cigar because of the heat but otherwise it is solid and well constructed." -Diana (ArmyRN) | 87.5 | "I liked the overall mix of flavors although I really could have used more sweetness hanging around in the second and last thirds. This is a predominantly leather an mineral taste cigar with the beginning offering a nice splash of pepper and spice and the cocoa and chocolate notes bouncing in and out. I think the vitola is perfect and if it was any longer I would have had enough. Tasty and interesting to say the least." -Diana (ArmyRN) | 60 | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME? | #NAME?

The cap has a small wrinkle in it and the foot isnt quite even. " -Dave W. (mdwest) | 90 | "Lots of baking spice notes fill the aroma of this stick. " -Dave W. (mdwest) | 87.5 | Medium | Light-Medium | "Not nearly as bold a flavor profile is presented as was expected. There are some wood notes and maybe a little bit of leather in the background, but both flavors are pretty faint. " -Dave W. (mdwest) | 87.5 | Medium | Medium | "Flavors start to ramp up a little bit in the second third and are a little easier to make out than they were in the first few inches. Wood notes are certainly more defined. " -Dave W. (mdwest) | 87.5 | Medium | Medium | "No real changes are detected from about the mid point of the smoke until the end. Everything pretty much remains the same. " -Dave W. (mdwest) | 90 | "A very good draw is provided with good resistance that is consistent from beginning to end. " -Dave W. (mdwest) | 87.5 | "The ash produced by this stick is very dark, but the burn is straight the entire smoke and the ash hangs on very tightly, never accidentally dropping no matter how long I allow it to stay on or how indiscriminately I handle the stick. " -Dave W. (mdwest) | 87.5 | "Other than the small issue with the cap and the uneven foot detected with the smoke pre-light, there were no apparent construction issues. " -Dave W. (mdwest) | 87.5 | "Overall not a bad cigar, but for me at least it lacked any "wow" factor that would make me want to make it part of my regular rotation. The wrapper is a bit toothy with some seams, but I am not seeing any veins. | Good | On the body I pick up sweet coffee with some wood, On the foot I get mostly sweet tobacco, like a molasses or syrupy aroma. | Very Good | Mild-Medium | Light | The cold draw is salty with some bread and rum flavors. This is a really elegant cigar so far. It's very smooth with quite a bit of sweet tobacco flavors mixed with some coffee. I had to re-cut it again, was getting some resistance on the draw, and was afraid of tar build up. Much better draw now. | Very Good | Mild-Medium | Light | Had to do another re-cut, not really an issue, just reporting. the cigar is still staying in the mild to medium strength. Still lots of sweet coffee and wood that's about it. No spice or harshness. I have had to re touch it up a few times, but that's expected with this vitola. | Very Good | Medium | Light-Medium | Spice has shown up and making the cigar more of medium in strength. On the retro I get that sweet coffee, but there is some cream and spice now that tickles the nasal passage. I take it back, spice has really picked up now. My lips are tingling. | Fair | Draw was ok. It had quite a bit of resistance and I had to cut it a couple more times. This may have been my fault. I straight cut it, and probably should have v-cut it, but when reviewing I like to use a straight cut to give the cigar the full smoking experience. | Good | The burn was good, but there were some re-lights that were needed due to the size. | Very Good | Very good construction, despite it's size it performed beautifully, however at the final third it became quite mushy, and had to put it down with about an inch to go. | Very Good | This is the type of cigar that you need to take your time with. Say you've had a bad or long day at work, and you need something to chill out, this is the cigar for that. It starts out really mild with lots of sweet coffee and wood flavors. It continues to stay that way until the final third when you least expect it, and that's where the spice comes in and really wakes you up with strength. This will be a good cigar to pair with coffee or your favorite cocktail. | 120
92 | 8/4/2018 18:09:43 | Diana (ArmyRN) | 772 | Great | What a solid little stick this is! If it was any shorter I wouldn’t like the feel in my hand but this is good looking and i’m ready to get smoking! | Good | I thought I got a whiff of ammonia when I first cut into the cap but if it was there it quickly dissipated. There is hay and a little chocolate hint mixed in with a barnyard scent on the dry draw. The wrapper is pleasant and gives off a hay and tobacco scent. | Great | Medium-Strong | Medium | A fairly good amount of pepper greets me when I take the first draws on this cigar. It reminds me of a dark chocolate brownie! | Very Good | Medium-Strong | Medium | There is a mineral taste that has crept in as I went into the second third. This is a bit of a toothy cigar with an iron taste reminiscent of red meat. The leather has become more pronounced as the pepper has receded but still remains available in the mix. There is only a hint of cocoa now and the cigar has gone from being spicy, peppery, and mixed with a little sweet to a more earthy and leathery combo. | Very Good | Medium-Strong | Medium-Full | So just as I thought the sweetness was gone it re-emerged. | Very Good | The draw was fairly good all the way through and produced ample plumes of white smoke. I didn’t hit any tight or loose spots but the cigar did burn just a little hot toward the end. No relights were needed and I didn’t have to work at smoking the cigar. | Good | This was a little hot for me coming down the home stretch, so I put the cigar down a lot in between puffs to let it cool. | Very Good | This thick and robust cigar did not disappoint with construction. The wrapper held nicely throughout the smoking experience. No issues except the hot burn toward the end. Even with a nice deep v cut into the torpedo cap it kept its integrity throughout. I would need a holder to truly nub this cigar because of the heat but otherwise it is solid and well constructed. | Good | I liked the overall mix of flavors although I really could have used more sweetness hanging around in the second and last thirds. This is a predominantly leather an mineral taste cigar with the beginning offering a nice splash of pepper and spice and the cocoa and chocolate notes bouncing in and out. I think the vitola is perfect and if it was any longer I would have had enough. Tasty and interesting to say the least. | 60
93 | 8/17/2018 16:36:53 | Dave W. (mdwest) | 772 | Good | Great lines and a nice looking mottled wrapper, but some attention to detail has been missed when rolling this one. The cap has a small wrinkle in it and the foot isnt quite even. | Very Good | Lots of baking spice notes fill the aroma of this stick. | Good | Medium | Light-Medium | Not nearly as bold a flavor profile is presented as was expected. There are some wood notes and maybe a little bit of leather in the background, but both flavors are pretty faint. | Good | Medium | Medium | Flavors start to ramp up a little bit in the second third and are a little easier to make out than they were in the first few inches. Wood notes are certainly more defined. | Good | Medium | Medium | No real changes are detected from about the mid point of the smoke until the end. Everything pretty much remains the same. | Very Good | A very good draw is provided with good resistance that is consistent from beginning to end. | Good | The ash produced by this stick is very dark, but the burn is straight the entire smoke and the ash hangs on very tightly, never accidentally dropping no matter how long I allow it to stay on or how indiscriminately I handle the stick. | Good | Other than the small issue with the cap and the uneven foot detected with the smoke pre-light, there were no apparent construction issues. | Good | Overall not a bad cigar, but for me at least it lacked any "wow" factor that would make me want to make it part of my regular rotation. | 77
