Version 3.1: Lifeblood
8
12/11/2017 17:23When should I copy over the latest version?
9
You can subscribe to a mailing list to receive e-mail notifications for when the workbook is updated by clicking the link below:

11
If you do not want to do this, which is fine, you will need to periodically check the master workbook at for version changes. To be clear, your copy will not automatically update when I make changes to the master sheet.
To update simply follow the "How to access" steps again as you will be cloning a new version over to work from rather than applying updates to your current copy.
12
13
How to use:
14
Begin by changing the settings on the "Config" sheet. Throughout the entire workbook change only RED text.
15
Having changed these settings go to the "Tracker" sheet. This is the sheet you will use the majority of the time for your builds which is why the ship selection and blueprint data is also on this sheet and not the respective "Calc" sheets.
16
You will see LIVE Mineral, Ore and Component values on the "Tracker" sheet.
17
Remember: Every time you reprocess your Ore or put Capital Components into build, update the Stored Ore, Minerals and Capital Comonents values.
18
Throughout the workbook you will see cells with a black triangle in the top-right hand side corner. This signifies a note is attached to this cell which likely better explains what it's for. Mouse-over that cell for the note to appear. Try it with this cell.
19
Alternatively you may see a link you can click which will open a specific part of the changelog which will provide a detailed overview which otherwise couldn't be included in a note. To click these links mouse-over them and click the pop-up.
20
Set up the price script:
21
Go: Tools > Script Editor.
22
In the Script Editor, Go: Select Function: InitializeGetMarketPrice. Hit the Play button (Triangle next to the bug icon). You may need to authorize the action.
23
Still in the Script Editor, Go: Edit > Current Project's Triggers. Add a new trigger for the "increment" function. This will add a force refresh for price data. I have it set to run every ten minutes and suggest you do the same.
24
Warning! Having price data constantly updating can cause you to reach your Google Quota of 20,000 URL Fetch calls per day. Only run price data when you need it, turn it off when not in use.
You do not need to run the InitializeGetMarketPrice function more than once. Simply toggle price data on/off after you've run the function and it will load prices. You may need to run the function again after updating your sheet to a newer version.

26
Access is free, Donations are welcome.
27
Do not pay anybody for access to this spreadsheet, it is free for all use as long as appropriate credit is given where due. All questions, concerns and ISK donations can go to https://evewho.com/pilot/Subliminally+Famous in-game. Thank you.

Things to know:
30
- Numbers are calculated via your data input. If a single BPC for a cap build has a different ME/TE than what you enter, or you forget to update the stored minerals on the "Tracker" sheet, you're going to get inaccurate data.
31
- Entered skill data is assumed to be accurate. No errors will be thrown if inacurate data is entered, but you will receive inacurate results.
32
- Ore and Compressed Ore Values are priced at the basic Ore price as mining a higher mineral yielding rock does not take any longer. This will result in left over minerals after the build.
33
- Remember Ore values fluctuate in Jita, especially the basic Ore values which are being pulled.
34
- If all of the ore you mine is a +10% yielding ore you will have 10% extra (based on the sheet calculations) minerals left over and therefore more potential profit.
35
- Refinary costs are not currently calculated. See Changelog date 01/07/2017 for more details.
36
- Price data causes heavy Load on the Google useage limits. Turn it off when not in use, allow a few minutes for data to fully load each time when turned on.
There is a function called "increment2" you can set to auto-trigger which will force the "Load Price Data?" to switch to "No" to turn it off. Set this up if you think you will accidentially leave it on - it will prevent you from unintentionally hitting the Google Quota Limit.
37
- The BPC sheet currently holds no function other than to track how many runs you have. See Changelog date 21/06/2017 for more details.
38
39
Plans for the future:
40
- As of May 2018 CCP will be removing the XML API. The primary function of this sheet (calculating required minerals/ore/components) will not be effected but I may need to update some areas so price data can continue to be calculated accurately. There are currently a lot of IMPORTXML cells in this workbook which is inefficient and will probably cause the job costs to take a long time to load. I plan on optimizing this as much as possible.
41
- T2/T3 production requires a huge amount of extra data input and calculations. I do plan on adding this but have no estimate for when this may be.
