1. During Sprint Planning:
Enter Sprint start date,length, and any public holidays during the sprint

Enter team members and hours that they have available for work

Enter hours per person for Review/Retrospective, Grooming, and Sickness

Enter expected swim lane hours for BAU

This should now give you the available hours for your team, and 70% of those are what is available for team for estimating which stories will be accepted into the sprint

2. Once you've tasked out the stories that are going to be part of the sprint:Record Story Numbers (Starting with a #) and descriptions (with a space before it) in the Stories tab, with task descriptions and estimations underneath the story name and number.

The only changes you should need to make on the review tab are the story points against the stories.

3. On a daily basisGet the team to enter the hours worked, and hours remaining on the day that they work on the story on the Stories tab - This is supposed to show the state of play at the end of the day that you enter figures for. Note: The spreadsheet currently doesn't allow entering on hours on the day that the sprint starts (e.g. planning day), so any hours worked on that day, should be keyed in the following days column.

4. Review/RetrospectiveUse the Review tab to identify stories that blew out from their initial estimates.
