Set up company information
Enter contractor details and default percentages on the Customer Quote and Cost Detail sheets.

2Build the estimateEnter labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and other direct costs in the detail worksheets. Blue-shaded cells are user inputs; formula cells are protected.

3Review pricingUse Cost Detail to review direct cost, overhead, profit, contingency, discount, tax, gross profit, and margin. Resolve all orange or red review flags.

4Prepare customer outputChoose Detailed Lines or Summary Categories on Customer Quote. Internal costs, markup calculations, margin analysis, and internal notes do not print.

5Manage revisionsUpdate the revision number and date, then record the reason and approval in Revision Log.

6Export or printReview print preview before PDF export. The Customer Quote is one page wide, repeats line headers, and keeps acceptance fields together.
